A beautiful drive to this lake from Red Deer campground. Many lookout points on the drive there. Various hiking trails along the way, both long and short. Kingsmere Lake has its own trails which are in the woods, well marked and somewhat remote. The lake is beautiful.

We are currently in our 22nd year of serving our community! We are located in the heart of Waskesiu and the Prince Albert National Park, right next to the Parks Canada Information Centre. It is our purpose to assist those individuals and groups who are wanting to connect with Nature either on a bicycle, quadracycle, canoe, kayak, stand up paddleboard or one of the many other services we offer. We make exploring new places easier by offering marine drop off services to many spots around the park. Stop by our store for any of the clothing or gear you need to have a great experience in Waskesiu! We look forward to serving you!
It is clear that the owners and staff at the Grey Owl Center want customers to have the best experience possible. Their rental fleet is well kept and they offer a variety of outdoor equipment including kayaks, longboards, canoes, bikes and more.

Come in winter if you want the park to yourselves. We cross-country skied and hiked and hardly ever saw another person. Park supplies free cross-country skis and snowshoes which was great! We used them every day. Saw river otters at the narrows the drive down in the snow was magical. Felt like our own personal national park was a great time

We have been here twice last summer and it was very much worth it. This is a great place to hike up to Grey Owl's cabin, take a dive in the beautiful lakes, have a bbq close by the water or enjoy the sweeping views this area has to offer. We saw a lot of wildlife, even an arctic fox in summer coat. There are trails and roads, but one can discover the true wilderness by going off the paths. Take bearspray and a backpack with gear. Incredible experience!!
