Multimedia Fountain Roshen (Vinnytsia Fountain “Roshen”)- was built on the river Southern Buh in Vinnytsia City near Festivalny Isle (Kempa Isle). This is the only one multimedia Fountain in Ukraine and the largest floating Fountain in Europe. Fountain runs from early April to late October. The project design and development was performed by Emotion Media Factory, a Germany-based company responsible for the dancing Fountains in Chiang Mai Night Safari Park (Thailand) and Kangwon Land (South Korea) as well as the multimedia shows for AIDA Cruises. The show was created by Ralph Douw, the CEO of the company. The Fountain was officially inaugurated on 4 September 2011 along with the official opening ceremony of Roshen Quay.
Spent many nice Summer evenings watching the Fountains with all their colors, and listening to great classic music playing in harmony with the Fountains. And films are also projected onto the Fountains, turning them into a fantastic water screen! Especially when Swan Lake is the music!

Found there is lot of history about Vinnytsia in this building and the building is very historical as well. I still think the building is leaning toward one side and no longer straight, you can feel this climbing the stairs inside. We had a translator there and was able to learn a lot about the area, building and culture. Definitely one of the many tourist places to visit.

The Slavic War Memorial Park is located in the pedestrian area of Grushevskoho and Kozitskoho Streets, between Hotel Ukraina and famous Vinnytsya Water Tower. This park in the heart of Vinnytsya commemorates local soldiers from WWII and the Soviet-Afghan War. Glory Memorial is the central piece of War Memorial Park. It is represented by a large statue of three different soldiers from WWII. An eternal flame burns in front of the statue. 79 prominent warriors are buried here, and the names of 6,486 Vinnytsya residents who were killed during WWII, in 1941-1945, are immortalised in records on the stella. The authors of the memorial are sculptor Y.Kulenko and architect V.Spuskanyuk. Glory Memorial and War Memorial Park are open during daylight hours. No entrance fee.
This square could be anywhere in Europe. Whilst stooped in a kind of somber history, it is very busy with families making good use of the space. There are bars around the square too and in summer I bet it would be a beautiful place.

Beautiful little church / masoleum. Tiny fee to pay. Basically under the church is the embalmed body of Pirogov. On display behind a big glass window.

Not the best water park I've been to, by far, but was good for a couple hours with the family. One large general pool with two water slides and a separate area for small kids. There is another pool for exercise, but it is exclusive and not available for general use. Not a bad way to spend part of an afternoon in Vinnytsia.

I went to the Regional Museum; I paid my 10 hrv admission but no one turned on the lights for me. There were the normal museum sitters, but not one looked up at me or offered to light the exhibits. Perhaps they have jobs for life, because they don't seem to care about museum visitors

Looks fairly simple from the outside, but dont be fooled. On the inside it is a hugely complex maze of intricate artwork.... gold leafed decor in abundance gives the onlooked a sense of majestic awe. Very pretty indeed!
