We had a great time and a beautiful drive getting to it! It’s about 1 1/2 hours from our house in Murphy NC and well worth the drive. You could walk on the water! I even took a video and put it on YouTube. Easy to access and folks can see it without even getting out of the car. You can walk to the falls and the top. This is the type of waterfall people dream of and picture when they hear the word.

In a mountain cove surrounded by the wilderness of Cherokee National Forest are ranging 30 species of native and non- native animals including 5 species of deer, three of African antelope, three of exotic cattle, Yaks, Bison, Capybara, African Porcupines, wallaroo, Aoudad, & wild sheep, Rheas,Emus & Zebra. Small groups of guests are toured in a safari vehicle. Reservations only.
My family had no idea what to expect when we ventured to Citico WIldlife from Tellico Village outside Knoxville. My parents live there and are always on the hunt for fun activities in the summer when their grandkids come to visit. I was blown away by Cleve's whole operation - from the extremely unique and many near-extinct animals, to his knowledge, the stunning expanse of the property and the lovely snack spot at the vista up top. Cleve runs a 5-star operation here and you are blessed to have it in East Tennessee. He has invested his heart and soul into this business and I fear he may not be able to continue unless he attracts more visitors. Please don't miss this unique, one-of-a-kind experience for your family. I've been on multiple safaris in Africa, Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. This is equally as impressive but from an herbivore perspective. Don't be surprised when there aren't Big 5 animals - Cleve's animals are all 'grazing' animals because this is TN, not Africa. But the unique species he has are equally as fascinating if you're an animal lover & adventure craver like I. My best wishes to Cleve and his operation. It would be an utter shame if he wasn't able to stay open. A local treasure indeed!

I have purchased numerous products from Benton's and have never been disappointed. I have even had my own hogs cured by them and they were awesome. While they may not offer that service anymore they still make a superior product. Highly recommend.

We took the motorcycle for a ride on the Skyway and do a little leaf peeping. What a wonderful 43 mile drive thru the mountains with plenty of pull offs on the way and even places to have a quick picnic lunch. You will see all kinds of sports cars and motorcycles along the way. Will go back in the Spring!

We stopped by before we headed on to the Cherohala Skyway. We got a great area map and good information about the area. They have nice clean restrooms too which we recommend before driving the Cherohala.....other restrooms are the large vault toilets on some of the Cherohala Skyway.

Baby Falls Area is just down the road from Bald River Falls and has several parking spots, restrooms (no flush) and picnic tables. The picnic tables are along the stream and there is easy access to the stream to get your feet wet. The falls itself is small but it is a favorite for kayakers.

I've visited the hatchery numerous times and its always interesting and entertaining. The facility is small but nicely laid out. Access is good and its easy for people to walk along the holding pens. Watch your kids because they'll want to stick their hands into the mass of leaping fish! The brood fish are HUGE!! double digit fish, really cool. Highly recommend.

I live about 30 min from Indian Boundary and have been there more times than I can count. The store carries items you may need or forgot to bring for camping. I only buy stuff here when I'm in a bind due to the expense,...MoreThank you for your review. We are continually searching for quality products, while also keeping our price as low as possible. Conasauga Falls is my family's favorite short hike. 1/2 mile in to a beautiful waterfall, picnic, photos, hop around on the rocks, and 1/2 mile out. Ideal for children, new hikers, and quick jaunts. The elevation coming out is uphill. A slight amount of fitness is recommended.
