A very interesting tour of the Qvevri Wine Museum, our guide was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. There was plenty of lovely wine to sample at the end of the visit too.

The shortest route from the capital to Telavi goes through this magnificent mountain pass. Although 1620 m above the sea level is by no means considered very high by local standards, landscapes visible from here are undoubtedly great. Driving in this area requires additional precaution in foggy weather.
