This is one of my favorite retreats in the city of Taizhou. It is an incredible day of relaxing, strolling, dancing in the square in the evening, enjoying the teahouse along the lake, or climbing one of the nine peaks that rise above the park. If you enjoy photography, this park allows more a multitude of visual opportunities, especially if you climb one of the Mountains. There are reconstructions of old houses from more traditional times, which allows you to escape back in time. For young children, an amusement park is also on the site. Many also come here to participate in public square dancing along the pond by the outdoor cafes and teahouses. Truly a refreshing experience in the middle of this most active city. You must go!

I love this mountain. It is incredible that the city of Jiaojiang, Taizhou has managed to build right around it at the base without destroy this natural wonder. I love climbing the steps to the top and then scaling to the top of the pagoda for a look over the entire city. Nestled in the many different places on the top of the mountain are areas for playing badminton, exercising, or just sitting and meditating. A monastery is also hidden away in the forest, where you can quietly sit and listen to the monks sing. I really don't like sharing my review of this place, for I consider it my secret escape from the congestion of the city, but then it would not receive the recognition it deserves. A true gem worth visiting. It is the heart of Jiaojiang, which in turn is the center of Taizhou.

This Sea world includes not just animal show and zoo but also different kinds of attractions for kids. Animal show is great, all animals look very trained. Zoo is not very big and really attractive. It is mostly dedicated to North pole.

I have been living here for a few years now and 'shi Li street' is still somewhere I like to visit for a taste of old China. They have some great shops dedicated to Buddhism here and you can find amazing old paintings and musical Instruments. A must for anyone who is coming to Luqiao.

Hai Men Lao Jie is the Old Town of Jiaojiang district of Taizhou. It is nestle between the three major Mountains within the city and the harbor. It has quaint little shops and other specialty stores, including a clinic practicing traditional medicine. It is the perfect spot for a late afternoon tea when wanting to escape from the noise and congestion of this growing industrial metropolis.
