We are the only Kiteboard School located 1 1/2 blocks from the beach on Sullivan's Island. We offer individual and group lessons. We also sell and rent paddle boards, bikes, beach chairs and umbrellas. We have an extensive inventory of beachwear for adults and young adults. We sell FONE Kites and gear, AXIS boards, CORE kites and boards. Our knowledgeable staff can help get you fitted and out on the water.
The pedal assist bikes were a blast! The team at Sealand Adventure was fantastic, and even made the effort to rent us bikes on an off season Monday, when they were closed. They came to the shop and got us set up on our bikes! This is our second trip to Sullivan Island and we have rented bikes from Sealand both times. It is now a "must do tradition" We spent 5 hours cruising the beaches and the neighborhoods of Isle of Palms and Sullivan's Island. Great fun!

Sandpiper Gallery, located on charming Sullivan's Island is known for the eclectic and wide range of unforgettable work that is shown. We welcome you to visit us on Sullivan's, shake the sand out of your shoes and experience a gallery like no other.
Love this gallery. I make a point of visiting anytime I am in the Charleston area. Paintings, jewelry, sculptures...there is something for everyone here, and at good price points. I have also visited during a few artist openings at the gallery. Such fun. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful.

Federal headquarters for the National Park Service's historic properties located in Charleston and Fort Sumter.
Smaller museum with gift shop. The rangers inside were extremely welcoming and nice! Museum was a one room with an attached theater that showed a short 15 minute movie about the Fort. However, we opted out of watching it. The grounds of the Fort were fun to walk around and explore. Our boys had a blast! The batteries overlook Sullivan Island and the views are great. Looking out we saw three dolphins close to shore playing. We spent a good hour and a half looking around the grounds. Then walked to the beach and enjoyed that for another thirty minutes. We were here in FEB, so its still a more quiet time in Charleston, so the beach was practically bare except for a few people walking their dogs. (Although I don't think this is a swimming beach because there is a huge sign talking about deadly current here) I don't think that is a seasonal sign, but I am not sure of this. Great place to visit, and we will visit again on a warmer day =)

Saw the beech onboard the Charleston harbor tour and decided to pop by. The beech is very wide. It is a great place to stroll during low tide with your loved one!

Inside of an old bunker is a little gem of a library. As a tourist, this isn’t the best place to go for the library aspect. It’s more of a local treasure. Come to see the bunker and you won’t be disappointed. But if you just want to see the big, showy attractions instead of quiet historical sites, then this isn’t the place to go in, just one to walk past and admire.

Thompson Park is a great little place for a quick lunch. The children get to climb rocks, collect shells, and often spot a dolphin. It's worth pulling over for a bit on the short drive between Sullivan's Island and the Isle of Palms.

Well you can’t go inside the lighthouse but it is nice to read and checkout the beach around it....the square shape and top are very unique verses other lighthouses
