We went for a friends 60th birthday party. We had the bar area inside the factory to ourselves, chose our own music, drank plenty of fantastic beer - proper old fashioned real ale each one of their beers very distinctive and top quality- try them all! and had pie and peas and some "lobby". I met the boss who was just great, and so engaging about the business, and the staff were really accommodating and just great people, and really helped make it a great night. Thanks Brad! Regards, Andy

The Royal Exchange

Went with friends for lunch; although food wasn't being served (only Fridays and Saturdays), the landlady kindly said we could go and buy some food to eat with our drinks (must be a first in the UK!), so we bought filled oatcakes from the shop just a few yards away. Titanic ales well kept and an excellent choice - the best choice I have ever seen in a Titanic pub. Very friendly, clean and bright with loads of interesting Titanic memorabilia. Can't wait to go back.

The Borehole

The Borehole is a brewery tap for the Lymestone Brewery and is based on the same site. It has never been a pub before so this is an exciting refurbishment. The pub will serve a range of Lymestone cask ales and bottled beers as well as other drinks from local and distant suppliers. A log burning stove provides a central focal point

Dropped in early afternoon after a birthday celebration elsewhere. It's the Lymestone Brewery tap and they seem to be doing something right as the place was full. It's dog friendly, the beer and cider is very well kept and you get a tunnocks caramel wafer or teacake if you have coffee or tea; they also do cakes! The gents toilets have novelty urinals and worth a visit in their own right.

Love this Place - they do amazing flavoursome Gin Cocktails -which is their speciality!! Visited a few times but also for my Birthday - for a few drinks with friends and my boyfriend. Plenty of seats on a Weekday night - but believe me this place is buzzing at the weekend. All the staff are very knowledgeable - and really are very polite. I managed to leave one of my birthday gifts on table when I left and they ran up the Town to make sure that they could get it back to me. Its one of the best bars in town - lovely atmosphere - good drinks and comfortable seats. It also sells the best selection of beers from Belgium - My favourite being Delirium! Don't forget those Coffees during the day :)
