I received a 10 liter Oak Cask for my 50th birthday. I needed to find a place where I could purchase 10 liters of white dog (unaged corn whiskey) to fill it up and make my own Bourbon. Melissa, at Southern Distilling Company, educated me on the whiskey making process, history, and latest trends. She was a joy to speak with and very knowledgeable on the company history and the history of whiskey in general. I stopped by to meet Melissa in person and purchase 14 bottles of unaged corn whiskey for my personal oak cask out front. It was a great experience and I look forward to taking a tour and sampling other SDC’s products when the Covid Ban is lifted. SDC and Melissa, thanks for a great experience!

It gets more intense as the minutes click. 8 & up but 12 best due to themes. This isn’t child’s play!
We went through the room "Under Pressure" and it was truly a high-pressure experience! The moment you step into the room you instantly feel like you have stepped back into the 1920s as a Revenue Police Officer attempting to save the city from a moonshine still exploding. A ton of puzzles, awesome locks, and amazing special effects truly made this experience the best escape room we have ever completed (we have done over 25 rooms, total). We completed this room with two people, however being experienced with escape rooms helped. For first timers or those who aren't as experienced, I highly suggest 4 or more people, although a good 2 or 3 person team with great teamwork will do well! Sierra, our game-master, was fantastuc. She was particularly good at giving you a small push in the right direction when you needed it. This is one of the best escape rooms we have done and truly look forward to escaping from more rooms in the near future!

I have been driving through the Statesville area for thirteen years and have watched this town evolve from a deserted America town to a beautiful revived architectural gem of old-time USA. And this has been done by a dedicated group of business people and a Chamber of Commerce who have worked hard to bring life back into this town centre. One of those newer businesses is the RED BUFFALO BREWING COMPANY located on North Center Street just down the hill from the lovely and newly streetscaped intersection. I met Joe, the owner, and originally from Buffalo who has put a lot of effort into his business of promoting North Carolina craft beers and reviving the downtown core. I am hoping I will get back real soon to sample some more of his craft.
