THE MICROBREWERY The ethic microbrewery DieciNove is located in the historic center of Spello, a small village in the province of Perugia, at the foot of Mount Subasio. In the micro-laboratory adjacent to the tasting room are produced monthly about 18 hectoliters of beer characterized by the use of so-called "Forgotten Fruits". Given the peculiarity of our production, the company is always looking for high quality products. The raw materials used in the manufacturing process are in fact monitored and controlled before use. For malts we chose semifinished of high quality, which as well as to guarantee us a 100% traceability, allow us to devote more attention to the process of flavoring beer. The product, which do not add preservatives of any kind, is neither pasteurized nor filtered, but re-fermented in the bottle to keep the property of the raw beer.

Consigliato ! ——— It is a little village in the heart of Umbria . It’s quite easy to reach thanks to the highway that goes straight to the threshold of Spello. There are large parking places where to leave the car just around the entrance of the historical centre. The narrow streets are very clean and characteristic thanks to colourful flowers and plants in every corner, churches and historical buildings! It’s a place with plenty of panoramic and culinary treasures which are a pleasure to see. 1 hour and half will surely be enough to have a walk in the amazing streets, to take some pictures and enjoy a delicious ice cream! It’s worth a visit !

We stumbled across the Villa dei Mosaici on our way into Spoleto and were unsure at first if it was opem, but it was. TripAdvisor says it's temporarily closed, but it looks like it's actually open now. We are so glad we found it. The villa is hugely impressive, with the detailed mosaic floors largely in tact and even parts of wall frescos and the underfloor heating system visible. The exhibits are interesting, tech enabled and really enhance the experience. Highly recommended! Plus there is a car park behind which is a good base from which to explore Spoleto!
