We hiked the trails here, no crowds and minimal non-nature sounds. Unique landscape that we haven’t explored before. Definitely recommend when looking for a nature escape.

The sunrise is the perfect place for a date, a ladies night, or to take a teen to their first real movie house. They do an excellent job selecting art house or lesser known films, older themed movies, all the way to current blockbusters. The sunrise and the ice cream parlor are the heart of downtown SP !

I found this place to be a real hidden gem! I started using it to exercise, specifically fast-walking. It's located just down from the Moore County Airport right off Airport Road. The lake provides a picturesque backdrop for all to enjoy. Aside from walking or running, folks can go canoeing or play frisbee golf as well. It's wonderful place to relax or exerice!! Come try it!

Hatchet brewing opened earlier this year. It is veteran owned and offers all styles of beer. Their void black ipa and the common ground stout are two of my favorites. They do not serve food but do have occasional food trucks and live entertainment. Mike is the owner and I keep missing him. Keep up the good work. Mike, thanks for your service ????????

A Donald Ross masterpiece, this 18-hole championship course winds through stately long leaf pine trees presenting a challenging yet enjoyable game for golfers of all levels and playing skills.
There's very little not to like about Pine Needles. Typical Donald Ross design, which further reinforces the idea he was a very frustrated and/or angry man. :-) The course is kept in wonderful shape, the design is magnificent, and it has many tee boxes for all skill levels. Some advanced golfers might think the course is too short from the back tees. Au contraire. You really need to think your way around the course, and frankly it may penalize some good shots if you don't know where to place your shots, which is likely to occur the first time you play the course. Doglegs, elevated fairways that fall away on the approach, tricky greens... But the layout and condition of the course is very good and the experience is well worth it.

With an ever changing tap list and really interesting collaborations and flavor combinations Southern Pines Brewery does not disappoint. For the non-beer drinkers they have a nice sized and well balanced wine list too. Awesome staff, very friendly. One of my favorite places in town.
