Ppnquogue beach is such a beautiful beach that is open ask year round. Access is free during the off season (after labor day and before memorial day) you will need a pass to enter during the peak months. Passes are available at the booth or at the town, discount to residents of Southampton.
The sand is very clean and offers much space to place a blanket and hang out with friends or family. Life guards are on duty during the summer months until 5pm. They also offer concessions and restrooms too.
It's a beautiful place and a nice ride and view from the ponquogue bridge.

Inspired by the natural setting and artistic life of Long Island's East End, the Parrish Art Museum illuminates the creative process and how art and artists transform our experiences and understanding of the world and how we live in it. The Museum fosters connections among individuals, art, and artists through care and interpretation of the collection, the presentation of exhibitions, publications, educational initiatives, programs, and artists-in-residence. The Parrish is a center for cultural engagement, an inspiration and destination for the region, the nation, and the world.
This museum is built to look like a barn. It is bright and well laid out inside.
When we visited the museum had a Clifford Ross exhibit showing waves on giants LED screen as well as in print. The LED is different than any other art exhibit I have seen and it was fascinating.
They also had a second exhibit "From Lens to Eye to Hand" which are paintings from a photograph. The details on some are incredible.

Duck Walk Vineyards encompasses 140 scenic acres. We produce some 35,000 cases of wine a year, and our wines have been repeatedly recognized for excellence in national competitions. From our Vidal Ice Wine made with grapes actually frozen on the vine, to our Blueberry Port crafted from wild Maine blueberries, to our unique Pinot Meunier, we strive to create wines that are distinctive and exceptional. But at heart we are still a family with a personal touch in every aspect of our business.
Spent a very cold afternoon here. It wasn't to busy when we arrived the staff was awesome. Explained everything we drank, kept it fun and light. Even got a bonus sample. We ended up buying 4 bottles. Scenic beach stretches 500 feet along the Atlantic shoreline offering a view of historic mansions in the distance.
Loved the beach!!! Only 4 people as far as we could see up and down the Beach!!! Off season (not summer) no permit needed to park. To drive 4 wheel drive on beach a permit is required all year. The beach is our happy place and this did not disappoint!! Loves the glittery smooth sea rocks washed ashore.

The sand is clean, the water is warm, and calm. Great beach for young families. The concession stand is one of the Beach Hut chain of concessions. It features a nice pub style menu with seafood and other grilled and fried favorites. it also, has a full service Bar serving your favorite adult beverages. Typically they have a live band in the evenings from approx. 4pm to 10pm The only drawback is that the drink prices are rather high and they do not accept any credit cards, Cash Only! So be prepared.

We were actually visiting the week before Pumpkintown opened, but you could see exactly what this place is all about! There were huge fields on each side of the building loaded with bright, orange pumpkins - almost ready for picking! There were dozens of playground contraptions, corn fields and apple orchards that look like tons of fun for families and children. I bet this is a great place in the Fall!

The Rogers Mansion Museum Complex has 12 historic buildigns that tell the story of Southampton's development in the 19th century. The Greek-revival Rogers Mansion was built in 1843 by whaling captain Albert Rogers. The one-acre property also has a carpenters shop, blacksmith shop, dry good store, paint shop, one-room schoolhouse and two barns. The complex was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012 as a unique campus of buildings, one of only two on Long Island. This is the perfect place for people of all ages to spend a pleasant afternoon.
Found this by accident and went in to look at a very interesting political exhibit.
Later that same night, we went back to see a film on Saving Elephants. Very well down..
The side yard has many busts of the Roman Caesars. Since I
Like Roman history, I enjoyed walking through the area. It was a pleasant surprise...
