It was amazing drive through the Valley with it's palmeries and people still living along the river because most families are firmers. We stoped by some very good photo spots. Local recently used irrigated system.

Crocoparc

A huge crocodile head marks the main entrance of the parc. An innovative concept and a unique project in Agadir, in the south of morocco. The farm within the Atlantic area contains more than 300 of Nil crocodiles (Crocodylus niloticus). The architecture and the design of the parc give the feeling to be in a forest, offering you the sight of a lot of unique trees and plants varieties.

We booked through the reception desk at the hotel, pick you up at 10am 20 euros per person. Bang on time, the minibus picked us up, a couple of further pickups and off for a 25 min ride to Crocoparc. Great entrance, we met our guide, just the 10 of us that were on the bus, very knowledgable guide about all aspects of the parc and in at least 3 languages. The tour went at a comfortable pace, would suit a wheelchair round the crocodile lakes, ponds with plants and frogs, demonstration of how papyrus was made, all fully explained. Past iguanas, cactus gardens, large tortoises, across a rope bridge if able, tiny monkeys, free henna tattoo, then it was feeding time, wow! Then the baby crocodiles, baby tortoises, snakes(python and anaconda) finally a cup of Moroccan tea and a few minutes to browse in the shop before getting back on the minibus to return to the hotel. All in all it took just over 3 hours door to door. Excellent value for money would recommend for all age groups.

Taghazout Beach

Reviewed By maggie_wink2019 - Gdynia, Poland

This had to have been one of my dream stays on the Atlantic coast in Morocco. What an amazing spot! Especially in winter when the sun is still warm and the most incredible sunsets make this place absolutely magic! Highly recommended for a quiet and relaxing surf holiday or just as a get-away-from-it-all spot with a huge beach to take walks along or jog in the morning. Excellent little cafes and restaurants with delicious grilled fish, sweet nus-nus coffee and the characteristic laid back atmosphere of a seaside resort. Taghazout is most certainly a place to come back to!

Souk El Had d'Agadir

THE SOUK EL HAD OF AGADIR The city of Agadir has one of the biggest and most wonderful souks in Morocco, an authentic traditional market that perpetuates the legacy of the country’s commercial squares. Open six days a week, except on Mondays, the Souk of Agadir bears the name of Souk El Had, in memory of the time when it was open only on Sundays. Behind its adobe ramparts, immerse yourself in a timeless atmosphere and discover an abundance of goods, from the most contemporary to the most traditional. Built in the early 1960s, after the earthquake, Souk El Had was first renovated in 1997. Now modernized with a roof and new flooring, it offers visitors a space up to standards in terms of safety and pedestrian mobility. A genuine city within the city: it spreads over 13 hectares in the center of Agadir. Souk El Had attracts customers of all kinds. Agadir Kasbah

Reviewed By f100zardoz

From the beach and almost anywhere else by the sea in Agadir. You will see the hill with the three Arabic words written on it,'god, country, king' is the translation. The kasbah sits on top of this hill and offers truely spectacular views of the city and its surroundings. There are the usual pedllers and camel rides available but once you are inside the ancient walls these are left behind. I would suggest going in the evening to experience a sunset as good as anywhere else in the world. The ground is uneven in places so leave your high heels behind. To get there the best option is to get a taxi and have them wait. Agree the rate before going. This is perfectly normal at this location and will see other taxis waiting for their customers. Enjoy .

Vallee des Oiseaux

Reviewed By 554phill - Port Talbot, United Kingdom

This was a very pleasant place. We passed through on several occasions on our way to and from the promenade and inevitably paused for quite some time to see what the different creatures were up to. One morning, one of the keepers took the two us to feed the goats, a peacock and llama and took photos of us doing so. He didn’t seek a tip and was happy with a handshake and smile...before we gave him a small tip! There’s plenty of benches and shade there too which means it’s a good place to watch the world go by and to cool down. Popular with tourists and local families, particularly on weekends.
