This was a present for my granddaughter (just 17) already a keen photographer but unused to London. Due to age she needed an accompanying adult and sweetly chose me over her (photographically competent) mum! I have no photography experience whatsoever. The excellent tutor (Vehbi Koca) through humour, excellent descriptive and practical techniques, and sheer love of his subject enthused us all from the absolute novice to the quite skilled, introducing us to new approaches and opening our eyes to see (frame and record) what is around us. He is generous in praise, and kind and helpful in criticism so we know we are learning and progressing as we go. We both felt pretty good and pleased with ourselves by the end. I for one, feel I have at last moved on from snapshots to a more creative approach to recording what is around me - while my granddaughter is studying photography at school.

Escape Plan is an ingenious live escape game set against the fascinating backdrop of World War II. Against the clock, you and your band of comrades have one hour to gather intelligence, find and solve clues and use your critical thinking and teamwork to make a bid for freedom. Games include: The Battle for Britain, The Adventure Begins and Roll out the Barrel.
We played their new game "Roll out the Barrel" and had a very enjoyable evening. The game is well thought out and the theme is recreated very accurately. There is a good mix of puzzles and plenty to keep all in the team involved. Carlos our games master was very engaging and always available to offer assistance when required. Having also played "The Adventure Begins" I can thoroughly recommend Escape Plan as their games are excellent and very good value.

We arrived late, we were lost. Max & Tony made allowances, and allowed us to float at no extra cost. I loved the pure feeling of relaxation while in the pod. It was quite soothing, I had sensory deprivation; allowing me to float away. I had shoulder, knee and elbow pain prior to my float. After my float, I had silky skin, pains and aches were less; definitely well worth the experience.

The Museum of Methodism tells the history of Methodism from John Wesley to the present day and its contribution to shaping Britain's political and social history. John Wesley's House stands next to the Chapel. His home for over a decade it is one of the finest surviving small Georgian townhouses in London. Wesley's Chapel has a thriving Methodist congregation in the heart of London with a full programme of services and events throughout the week. Please note that groups larger than 6 people must book in advance. Last entry is at 3.30pm.
Wesley’s Chapel (formerly known as the City Road chapel) was built under John Wesley’s direction and incorporates a side chapel and hall on the ground floor and the Museum of Methodism in its crypt. Wesley’s house is next door. This Saturday a service was in full swing in the main chapel commemorating war dead hosted by a priest in gown and banns accompanied by a battery of trumpeters. Regimental flags flew aloft from each side of the gallery. The downstairs museum was unexpectedly closed.
