They are not always open so be sure you get a right day and time. It's in the center of city so it's no loss if you have to return or wait. It's a wonderful museum. I love seeing the different masks of Mexico.Staff was friendly and the museum shop was great with many locally made crafts.

This is my favorite plaza in San Luis Potosí. It’s pretty and there is always a lot of movement. You can shop around there and get some ice cream and sit and eat in the plaza. I love this city and this is my favorite of all the plazas.

We had a car rental to drive to location, we had a lot of fog going and coming, not crowded and excellent local liquours and purchased some quartz and aventurine gemstones, even stopped to local shop to purchase local chocolate and Cafe Gorah factory, after a lot of research and locals advising to visit certain spots in Huasteca Potosina we made it here. Wear water shoes and have a change of clothes if you want to get we in Las Pozas, and roads are unpaved. Give yourself ample time to drive safely the windy roads some of us got car sick.
