Must do if you are around Hua Hin, we took the boat from the beach (saves you a difficult hill crossing) took the boat tour, first to the canal and see some colorfull fishing boats, then to monkey island, then to the beach for the hike to the cave. Hike is challenging, but everyone can do on his own tempo. View in the cave is stunning. try to sit down on a quiet spot on the hike and wait for the monkeys to appear.

Clear, cool(er) water. I would have liked to have stayed at the beach much longer, but I was exhausted from the trek to the cave. It has the nicest beach water of all the beaches I have visited on the gulf.

We visited this marsh after climbing the Khao Daeng view point (elsewhere in the national park) and found it to be a great, peaceful and picturesque corner to wile away a few hours. The scenery is beautiful, lush and very unique in Thailand. The site also benefits from not being overrun by lots of tourists. We went late July, during low-season, and were the only ones there on a bright sunny afternoon! Although it is not possible to complete a full route, as the boardwalk is undergoing repairs, you can still walk a considerable way and enjoys views across the marsh.

This is a difficult hike for smaller kids but worth it if you can make it with them. I would take your own flashlight, the ones for rent at the base for 40 baht are very weak and break quickly. inside the cave can be very slick and get very tight, but a beautiful place to explore with your family.
