Rye is a city in Westchester County, New York, United States. It is separate from the town of Rye, which has more land area than the city. Rye city, formerly the village of Rye, was part of the town until it received its charter as a city in 1942. The population was 15,720 at the 2010 census. Rye is the youngest city in New York state. No other city has been chartered anywhere in New York state since 1942.

Cool hiking well marked hiking trails for bird watching and general exploring. Few white tail deer and wild turkeys are in attendance. You are surrounded by the sound and good views of the water and marshland.

Nice and clean beach, nice staff. Not too crowded. Love this little beach. I try to come every day, sometimes only for a few minutes, it doesn't matter if it s cold, windy, rainy or sunny. I always purchase the resident permit and parking. It s worth the money.

This landmark amusement park has been entertaining people for years. Wentbherevyesterday and we had a great time. Right near the Long Island sound...place has many rides and wholesome fun. Dragon coaster and steeple chase are great, along with the log flume and Ferris wheel ...place was simply fun. A little run down and needs some TLC, but being by the water on a hot day whi,e riding rides, fun fun fun
