Bike Park Ireland is the first official mountain bike park in Ireland offering everyone from beginners to pro's the opportunity to have an action packed day out. With 8 downhill trails to choose from, a seriously cool uplift service, the largest pump track in the country, you will find it hard to contain your smile. We are a family run business and the bike park is entirely on private grounds and it's quite simply the best place in Ireland to come and have fun on a mountain bike. If you have all the gear and a bike, great, bring it - if you don't have anything, that's fine too because we have it all here for you to hire, just bring a pair of shoes with grips and we will take care of the rest. We cannot over emphasise the fact that anyone that can ride a bike will have loads of fun here. We have a large fleet of superb Kona bikes for hire, including helmets and pads, a class cafe called The Mucky Boot Cafe which serves homemade hot food all day. If your not into biking that's fine too as we have a lovely walk to the top of the trails where you can see as many as 8 county's. Our bike park is very family friendly and kids of all ages will spend hours playing around on bikes and lets face it there's a kid in all of us and we all just want to play on bikes every now and then!!!

So much history. What a gorgeously historic place. From the very unassuming drive in to knocking on the door and not knowing what to expect. Invited in by Sean who lives there and has restored the place over the last couple of decades. Sean is very knowledgeable about his history and is happy to share some great stories about the area and it's great to hear about the various entities and energies that still enhabit the place. You're free to roam around the upper floors on your own and your get a real sense of the castle for yourself. Seas was very welcoming and played some music for us while telling us about the history that surrounds the vast building. Definitely worth a visit i can't wait to go back when I have more time to roam around.

A lovely stone castle, steeped in history- lovely gardens - staff more than helpful and informative. We chanced on Roscrea en route from Dublin to Ennis and would definitely recommend a visit to the Castle.

This is a beautiful church ❤️ & the walks around the property is Devine. The waterfall was in full flow as we were in a spell of nothing but rain. A large amount of the stone to build the church was drawn from Templemore by horse & cart a distance of about 17 miles. This stone came from the Abbey a beautiful house owned by the Carden Family, which was burnt to the ground in 1922 while the family were in the UK. The Little Brosna river flows through the grounds.
