This is I guess the best zoo I have visited in Western Ukraine. Honestly, it is even more exciting than in Kyiv.
Brand new cages, various animals and birds, in-house exhibition of snakes, lizards, turtles and spiders.
And unique room - night life world - bats, koalas and more.

It is the best park for jogging in the morning! Even though it is located in the city centre, the traffic noise will not disturb you from enjoying nature and greenery.
The park is in Soviet style, but it gives some charm to the whole atmosphere. Inside you can find different attractions, extreme park. During weekend people come there to exchange coin collections and play chess.
In general, a very nice place to visit in Rivne!

Собор (или храм) расположен прямо на городском кладбище Ровно. Размещен оно на возвышенности, по-этому кажется еще более высоким. Собор довольно новый - построен и освящен в 2001 году. Принадлежит УПЦ киевского патриархата

Little museum displaying a huge varity of amber. Different sizes, colours and many ways of working with the amber. Especially the focus on illegal digging after amber in northwestern Ukraine was interresting and depressing. When digging for the old gold, modern equipment is being used, destroying the soil and leaving vast areas of fine, agricultural or forest soil colpletely destroyed and barren. The areas are as depressing as the pictures seen of the theft of rain forest in Amazonas. All destruction for old mens greed. Attached to the museum can be found a little shop selling legal amber products as ear rings, bracelets, necklesses in different shapes and colours for prices much lower than else where in amber shops.

While it probably isn't the reason most travelers come to Rivne, the Princess Rivnenska Monument is a great moment to pause on a walking tour of the city center.
The monument is dedicated to the princess Maria Nesvitski who ruled in Rivne after the death of her husband in the 1400s and 1500s. Her bio is an interesting read and it makes Rivne come to life a little more during your visit.
It's also an entry point to the underground shopping area.

Nice big screens, comfortable seats, a lot of people coming here and very good locations - right in the centre part of the city, where you can find a lot of different pubs & restaurant.
Always dubing as in all Ukrainian cinemas, hope it will change.
