Northwood is located just minutes outside of Rhinelander, WI. Stop by for a great challenge of golf and take on an amazing up north view and stop by our Whipsaw Bar and Grill after for an amazing bite to eat or drink.

My son and I had done an escape room once before in Minneapolis, but this one was much more challenging! Some of the clues led nowhere, and some of the clues took several of us to decipher! It definitely took teamwork and analysis to solve our mystery and escape...which we did!!!! Would highly recommend this to any group who is open to an adventure!

The 2 trails through the woods offer typical northwoods evergreens and aspens. It is a peaceful place to connect with nature in the winter. In the summer, the shade makes for a pleasant hike. One trail is .8 mile; the other 1.25 miles; the length is perfect for little ones but can be combined and reversed to make as long as you want. There is also a disc golf course to keep those teens happy. The beach is sandy, and slopes gently into the lake so it is safe for young children. There is plenty of grassy area for blankets, some portions in the shade. Picnic tables are close by. Perfect place for summer or winter fun in God's world.
