The Museum is located in the Information Centre complex. Entry is by donation. It houses the Hopetoun-Ravensthorpe Railway Carriage, the Guards Van, the Old Jail and Dance Cottage. Inside Dance Cottage, the house is furnished with the historical items from the past. There is just so much to see in the whole Museum which is a relatively small space choked full of items. Some items had good descriptions. As you return back to the Info Centre, half the place constitutes the Museum as well. Excellent collection of historical items. Worth a visit !

We were on our way to Wave Rock from Hopetoun and was recommended this drive - Archer Drive Lookout. The drive takes you past the Galaxy Lithium Mine, the remains of the Floater Gold Mine site and along the way is natural farmland where we came across a dozen emus. We got to Archer Drive Lookout but there was no sign there and after a brief stop we continued further on a steep road past the tower. The wildflowers here were just stunning but realising that we had gone too far, we made our way back to the lookout. We took our time here admiring the views and walked around the area. From afar, you could just make out one of the sides of the Ravensthorpe Art Silo.
