Highly recommend this if visiting the San Sebastian area. It's a nice walk to the top with superb views across both sides of San Sebastian. Overall walk takes maybe an hour from top to bottom at a leisurely pace. Take some water if the weather is warm as it can be tough is some parts

La Concha Beach in San Sebastian, Spain is the best urban beach in Europe. Elegant, urban, cosmopolitan, white sand, crystal clear waters and lush hillsides makes La Concha the best urban beach in Europe and one of the most beautiful in the world. By the way San Sebastian is considered the most beautiful city in the world alongside Seville.

Wander the old town and lose yourself amongst the narrow streets, with so many restaurants/bars to stop at for refreshment and so many sites to see and explore.

One of a kind in the world, the venue has become the first large museum of its type dedicated exclusively to a fashion designer. Developed under the tutelage of the Cristobal Balenciaga Fundazioa Foundation, the Museum has accepted the mission of promoting, disseminating and making the most of the significance, relevance, importance and prominence of the brilliant designer himself and of his work in the world of artistic creation in general and ore specifically, of fashion and haut couture. The Museum, in addition to exhibiting more than 3,000 items, seeks to become an international center, involved in education, dissemination and investigation within the area of the fashion couturier.
Immerse on a small town near SAN sebastian you will find this incredible place which recognizes the career amor one of the most important fashion designers in the history of modern fashion. The museum by itself is a place that will catch your eye in the middle of a small fishermans town.

Cannot speak about the sunbathing/swimming experience but the walk on the promenade is just fabulous. We walked up to the harbor, enjoyed the views of the sea, looked at countless boats... There is a plethora of cafes and restaurants with outside seating along the Paseo de Bidasoa to sample some pintxos with a glass of Rioja.

I enjoyed two months in a wonderful community. Basque people are great. They are fine cooks, artisans, fisherman and hosts. Hondarribia offers beauty on every corner along with a bus stop, bakery, cafe or bar.

This is a truly magnificent beach and not just for surfies of which there are many. It is dog friendly and our dog adores going in the water. It’s a long was down the 400+ steps from the campsite but totally worth it.

The ermita is within walking distance of Zumaia's center. The building itself is quaint. The views spectacular.

The geological formation here is world famous and will intrigue and fascinate even those not familiar with the geological significance. The stratified sedimentary beds are a flysch that arose in a foreland basin at the time of the tectonic convergence of Iberian and European plates that gave rise to the Pyrenees. Game of Thrones fans will recognize the setting as Dragonstone (I had to have this explained to me). The beach is broad and the sea water shallow for a considerable distance.
