We cater to families, large groups, first-time kayaker's, experienced kayaker's, couples, corporations, and just about anyone who wants an experience like no other! First time kayaker? No problem. Our friendly, knowledgeable staff is happy to walk you through a quick overview of basic kayaking techniques.
We had a set appointment and pushed off on time with helpful young workers. They had decent equipment to use although the life vest had a bad odor. The creek is peaceful and not much of a current. Beautiful homes and an occasional boat idols by slowly. It is a work out and if you are a strong rower you might make it to the falls and back within your four hour retail time. Great time!

During our last visit to Louisville the couple we were visiting insisted that we accompany them to this small candy shop in Jeffersonville, Indiana. We happily agreed and experienced a wonderful demonstration of candy making. The samples were also wonderful. Before leaving, we bought a variety of chocolates to taste after returning home. These chocolates, filled with various fillings, were some of the best we’ve ever tasted. So smooth, creamy, rich and flavorful. They truly did melt in your mouth. Today’s visit was just to replenish our supply and add some more variety to chocolate tasting experience.

A 500 seat dinner theatre featuring Broadway Musicals, Comedies, Concerts, and Children's Theatre. A freshly prepared home-style buffet is included in the ticket price. Located just minutes from downtown Louisville, KY, free parking and AAA discounts are available.
Our group went to this playhouse and we seen A Christmas Carol the Musical and the show was very good but the food not very good at all. However the show was very good and perfect for holiday season. We really did enjoy this show as the actors made it a fantastic new view of this classic tale. Only wish the food was half as good as the show. They need to hire a better chef who takes pride in their food.

I love hiking with my dog on leash in these woods. It is a great escape from the grind and an intimate touch of nature. You may see deer, racoons, red fox, coyote, rabbits, turtles, terapins, and even Turkey once. There are picnic areas, a great playground, and a new one with more to come. There is a baseball diamond, soccer fields, gazebos, and a nature center. There are numerous events throughout the year. What's not to love about Creasy Mahan Nature Preserve.

I was looking for a little something "extra" to give my partner for Christmas. Instead of something cheesy like flowers or chocolates, I knew my partner would enjoy getting out of the house and doing something together. Studio G offered me the perfect gift opportunity. We booked an early morning (10a-12p) paint & sip class w/ Rita Yussman who turned out being a local award-winning artist for her work on Kentucky Derby posters, etc. Additionally, the theme of our painting was "Uncorked," which would compliment the kitchen my partner had been working so hard on lately (bourbon/wine theme).
Pamela, the owner, couldn't have been nicer. Between Pam & Rita, our mimosa glasses were never empty, there weren't any awkward dull moments of silence, we weren't ever "waiting for the next step," etc. Did I mention that the studio looked amazing? We just had a great time and it felt great to be out and enjoy ourselves in an intimate, personal environment.
All together, the bill was $90 for two hours of personalized painting with our instructor and bottomless mimosas. Had it been later in the day, we probably would have opted for bourbon or a bottle of wine.
We will certainly be back! I highly recommend.

If in the area you should certainly stop by and see this breathtaking house. Once a personal resistance it was turned into a museum while the last of the family was still in residence. The house survived the great flood of the 30s as well as a tragic fire.
The museum houses many examples of steamboat life and life in the days of steamboat travel.
The property is also remodeling the carriage house on the property to be used for social gatherings...imagine your wedding at this beautiful location!

Dating back 386 million years, the Falls of Ohio are among the world's largest naturally exposed fossil beds.
This is a great park on the river. There’s a nice interpretive center and they give tours of the Falls on occasions. There’s quite a bit to explore on your own. Good hiking. Good access to downtown Jeffersonville through sidewalks. The fossils are neat to see and learn about. Plenty of parking. Close to restaurants and shops in downtown Jeffersonville and also the Big Four Bridge to walk or bike to downtown Louisville.

OVERVIEW
...I found this course to be very scenic.
...It's a links style course out in the country.
...There are a few big houses on the edge of the property but nothing close by.
...Bentgrass fairway greens and tees.
...Almost all the greens are either round or oval.
PRO
...I thought the greens were in great shape for November.
...The greens putted very true (some of my best putting ever).
...The fairways were mostly in great shape with just a few small bare spots and the cart path was in pretty good shape.
...The bunkers were in good shape, especially considering how much rain we had received recently.
...The cart paths are unobtrusive and off to the sides. This isn't necessarily a good thing for cart path only, but I think it's a good thing for golf in general. I only hit the cart path once (it bounced somewhere and I never found the ball).
... The carts have GPS for front, middle, and back of green. This is a good feature but GPS with hole layouts so you can tell where to hit and locations for hidden carts in the fairway would be a huge improvement.
CONS
...There were way too many blind tee and second shots. This made the course difficult to play for a newbie like me and you could easily hit someone ahead of you. This wasn't a problem today because the course was almost empty due to the very cold day.

We have watched this park from it's infancy. It is a VERY nice place for a walk, take children to playground or family picnics or large gatherings. You can feed the ducks, geese and turtles at the pond and may even see a deer or two. The park continues to get better as the trees continue to grow into a forest. There are restroom facilities and a small museum on the grounds also.
