My wife and I really enjoyed our guided horseback ride. Our guide brought us up to an awesome overlook with a very scenic mountain view. We would definitely come back again. Great value at $35 per person for a little over an hour ride.

While I probably wouldn't go there just to hang out for a beer, this place has amazing pizza! It's just a small bar-type establishment, and it's very clean in there. The staff are friendly. You can eat the pizza there or get it to go. Amazing crust, really! Check them out.

Been here before and went back to get some of their apple cider donuts. They are made fresh on site and are very tasty. Donuts were good and the service was good

Excellent new destination when enjoying Lake St. Catherine. Otto's is a quaint little log cabin where you can get sundries for your camping experience, fantastic ice cream or a delicious meal to go or dine outside under an umbrella table. The mini golf course is a cute distraction for kids so parents can sit and enjoy a rest.
You can purchase alcohol onsite, but are not allowed to imbibe on the premesis.
The food is terrific, definitely enormous portions and home cooked. Try the meatloaf sandwich. You won't be disappointed.

My boyfriend and I chose this to be my first full mountain hike, all the way to the top. It was a lot tougher than we expected -- the reviews elsewhere said it was either easy to moderate, or moderate to difficult, and I'd go with the latter. The trail up to the summit was wet and very rocky all the way up -- though of course, I'm not a very experienced hiker or all that in shape, so if you're a seasoned hiker, you might find this one easy. It was rough going for me, but I'm glad I pushed through and made it to the top, and the view of Lake George was very pretty when we got to the summit.

Free wine tasting with good variety of flavors. Well priced. Bought a few bottles of their Vermont Ruby Red to enjoy back home. Don't let the rundown farmhouse look turn you off. Worth a visit if you're doing a wineries in Vermont.

The Slate Valley Museum is in its 21st year. Started by a group of historians and slate industry leaders, it's one of the best resources for historical and geographical information about Granville and the slate valley (Granville, and its Vermont neighbors). The First Friday events, hosted in conjunction with the Pember Library & Museum across the cultural campus, are great opportunities for local storytellers, artists, musicians, and foodies to get involved! It's a must see in Granville.
Check out the calendar of events to see if they having anything special going on... this year is the year of the WPA (Works Progress Administration)... and they have ongoing book discussions, fireside chats, and other interesting programming!

Stopped by with family members on our way to Burlington. They have rest rooms, information desk, brochures. They were very helpful. They have signs out front with towns listed and mileage to them. We took turns taking our picture with them. They gave us directions on the best way to get to Burlington and our hotel for check in and some suggestions on some places to visit. Overall a nice experience and a much needed break to stretch our legs.
