The National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force preserves the stories of courage, character and patriotism displayed by the men and women of the Eighth Air Force from World War II to present.
The museum was wonderful. You really shouldn’t miss stopping here. Very educational for all ages.
The staff was part volunteer and part paid. Our guy had a brother who actually flew during WW II. He had fantastic stories to share.
Parking was plentiful and it was easy access from I-95.

Savannah's picturesque historic district brings the traditional southern atmosphere to life.
Savannah is one of the prettiest city's that we have visited. Lots of history with beautiful old homes, buildings, squares and cemeteries. First thing we did was take an old town trolley tour. We think that $33.00 for one day is too expensive, (2 days is $46.00), but you can hop on and off at 15 stops. We did the same tour in St. Augustine and the cost per day is only $23.00 or $28.00 for 2 days. Would be nice if the cost was the same in all cities that they operate in. We also took a 45 minute caleche/horse drawn carriage ride and a riverboat cruise. There are some great restaurants to be found and your days will be full of great sites to visit. We want to come back again.

This is a great place to just go browse. There's always something there that you will need. This location also doubles as an auction site, so there are two sides to the building. However, there is a time when you can "peek" at auction items before auction time to get an idea if you want to go back or not. The antique side is all cool stuff as well as some that have been "remodeled" ie: painted or repaired. Wonderfully nice people and prices are reasonable.

The park is very nice and it offers tons of space for multiple families to enjoy the facilities. We held our family reunion gathering here and the facilities maintenance did a great job in keeping the place cleaned during our event. Overall, it's a great park to take your children for a day out or for a family event.

This is the second Salt Table specialty food shop to open in the Savannah area and it's located in a separate building in front of The Hobby Lobby, Home Goods and Dick's on Tanger Blvd. The Salt Table provides samples of over 200 of its own brand of salts, seasoning blends, rubs, teas, sugars, dip mixes as well as hundreds of other Georgia made food products and wine. The Salt Table is a nationally recognized, award-winning local company. It features only food products from the State of Georgia, including Georgia wines.
Lots of spices and a variety of Georgia made products sold at the local farmers market. Huge selection of different types of salts that are flavored with different items. I found rock salt with Ghost Pepper in a grinder that I bought since I had not seen it available before. The wife got lots of spice packets to make dips.
This was the reason that bought us to the Tanger Outlets.

We are an affiliate of Milan Day Spa on Broughton. We offer Skin Care, Waxing, Massage, and Spray Tanning.
I have long been a patron of Milan Day Spa on Broughton and still love it but sometimes parking right outside and no downtown traffic has an appeal so I tried the Pooler location. I am delighted that the Milan spa regional chain has opened Milan Esthetics and that the staff, services, products used and spa itself is of the same high standard I have come to expect. I had a wonderful facial, facial waxing, eyelash and eyebrow tint and feel relaxed and my skin and eyes look great. I strongly recommend that you go there to be pampered.

Fun Zone is located around a variety of restaurants and shopping stores. Not far from Savannah and Hilton Head which is a real plus if you're vacationing in those areas. The arcade had decent games, but was small and underwhelming compared to a Dave & Busters. I think it's okay however for kids under age 8. What makes up for the arcade are the go-kart rides. They were a lot of fun. Not too big, not too complex, just right. There are 3 tracks, one of them, the Hi-land track, is exclusively for riders 16 and over. I highly recommend visiting when Fun Zone first opens for the best experience. It is a stop off, not a stay all-day kind of place, especially when it's blazing hot outside.
