I must admit when we first arrived I felt that this might require a different review - but once we completed the tour I would definitely recommend this stop to anyone who wants a look at gators in their nature habitat. The grounds of this place are definitely in need of some upkeep - or maybe that's just how gators like it. Our family was able to look past that and enjoy the knowledge of our tour guide. Even though there was no gator wrestling as seen in a few of the promotional photos - we loved seeing the gators in their natural habitat and upclose and personal. Plus getting to hold one is a great experience.

It is a charming place for people who like to shop. Arts, crafts, nicnacs. Stop and explore. This establishment is locally known and enjoys good reputation. If you like antiques you may find it interesting. We liked the selection of jams and jellys as well as local souvenirs. Good selection of soy-candles and soaps.

RISE Escape Rooms currently offers three unique gaming experiences. In "The Bookie", you enter the world of underground gambling and must find your way into the bookie's vault and steal back your winnings. "Hijacked" takes you to the friendly skies where your flight has been hijacked. You must hack your way into the cockpit and secure the aircraft for landing. Join an epic battle between Witches and Vampires in "Spellbound." With the help of the spirit of the five witches you must seek out the last vampire before times runs out. Do you have what it takes to ESCAPE?
We did the Spellbound and Hijacked room there recently and the Spellbound room is amazing. I've done over 20 rooms with roughly the same team, and it was my favorite. The puzzles are innovative and extremely well themed. Anyone looking for one of the best escape rooms in the country should go do the Spellbound room! The Hijacked room was just okay. It looked really good but the puzzles were lacking and were mediocre.

The Red, White & Brew is Hammond and the North Shore's premiere destination for Quality! We seek out the finest quality products from around the world to ensure the greatest selection of Botique Wine, Craft Beer, Top Shelf Spirits and Premium Cigars. Sorry but, no grocery store brands here. Just the best small production products at every price point. We also provide a smoke free environment and great patio area for our friends that do smoke... See You at the Brew!
We were blown away by this concept that we've never seen before! Loads of wine and beer fill the shelves that surround the bar...the idea is to browse the selections and pick out what you want...they will uncork it and pour for you, and you can take anything left with you. There are flash coolers for the beer or wine to be chilled...snacks available and chatty bartenders. A fun vibe in an out of the way and unexpected spot!

One thing you will quickly find about Bayou Booksellers is that books are far from being all they sell. Simply put, "if they don't have it, you don't need it"! They are a great source of flags, college souvenirs, you name it. Great place for that last minute gift and reasonable prices.

I have gone to this place SEVERAL times in a month im ashamed to say. But their applewood bacon cheddar burgers are sooooo good. The spinach and artichoke dip was a little runny but it was very good regardless. Not sure of the beer selection but my fiance didn't complain. Service is always friendly and laid back.

If you're looking for something fun to do on a Saturday afternoon in Hammond, Louisiana, a visit to the Gnarly Barley Brewery is a must. Zac and Cari Caramonta, the proud owners, always make your visit a party. Great beers are on tap and bands often play. Tours begin at 1:00. There are always new variations on beers that you can't find anywhere else. The place is huge, about 10,000 square feet. Zac loves to show off his equipment. Keep up with them on Facebook to find out if any special releases are scheduled. Bring the kids, bring your dog. And have a Gnarly experience.
