This shop first opened in August 2017. We are proud to offer local, quality handmade items and items made in the USA. We consider ourselves a cooperative retail shop and have many makers who contribute to the variety of products available. USA ! HANDMADE ! ...APPALACHIA, ALL THE WAY !!!
My family loves stopping by this shop when we are in Point Pleasant. I love the atmosphere and love that this is a place to show off what WV makers have to offer. My 6 year old has a blast looking and picking out all the things she wants to buy.

The Mothman Museum is devoted to the Mothman legend, featuring original press clippings on the Mothman sitings here in the area, actual props from the Mothman Prophecies movie starring Richard Gere, the Silver Bridge collapse, documents, & other memorabilia. Mothman and the museum are also featured in Bethesda's online game Fallout 76. We have a gift shop with unique items covering the Mothman legend and other cryptids. Open DAILY (closed Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving and New Years) MONDAY-THURSDAY 11-5 FRIDAY 11-6 SATURDAY 10-6 SUNDAY 12-5
Traveling home on US-35, and having never heard of Mothman, it was a quick side trip to an amazingly historic small town. We browsed downtown until opening time and then entered one of the most unique museums I've ever encountered. Full of local history and trivia, it did its level best to try to link the local legend of Mothman, the 1967 collapse of the Silver Bridge over the Ohio River, UFOs, Men In Black (long before the movies), and the WWII TNT District of West Virginia. Intriguing.

Located at the confluence of the Kanawha and Ohio rivers in Point Pleasant, Tu-Endie-Wei State Park is home to an 84-foot granite monument commemorating the frontiersmen who fought and died in the 1774 Battle of Point Pleasant. The name “Tu-Endie-Wei” is a Wyandotte word meaning point between two waters.” Tu-Endie-Wei is a historical park that is open year-round. The park’s Mansion House and facilities are open May 1 through the first weekend of October.
Love the history of this place. It is an original building owned by The Daughters of the Revolution and dates back to pre-revolutionary war. Huge battles were fought here and nearby. We loved exploring the rooms. The upper floor was a favorite of my grandson due to the many artifacts. Very nice park! Just 5 minutes from here is Krodell park. There’s a Fort to explore there ????.
