Lakes Basin

Reviewed By toraincal - Brentwood, United States

We hiked to Bear Lake, Little Bear Lake, Cub Lake, and Long Lake. A nice loop to see them all. Not that long, a little strenuous if you are old like me, and are dealing with chemo treatments. But we loved it, and highly recommend the hike

Best ATV trip ever, and I've been on ATV rides all over the world. We were picked up at our hotel in Reno by Lisa. Then we were created at the ranch by Kevin. He showed us around the great barn where parties can be held. Then Scott reviewed with us the working of the ATVs. He checked our skill set then we were off. He catered our ride to the skill of our group. Beautiful views. Great rides throughout the country side and up into the mountains.

Large, sapphire-blue lake offering excellent trout and salmon fishing opportunities.

What a beautiful lake and surrounding area, at Lake Almanor. Fantastic camping spot right on the lake with a great bike path and lots of hiking, biking, swimming and water play. I could see this area as a great family reunion destination.

Plumas-Eureka State Park

Reviewed By 349leeh - Sacramento, United States

In an area known mostly for logging and lumber, the state park is a well preserved part of the mining done in the area. It's really interesting, but don't expect much to be open during the winter although you can explore the grounds.
