What a pleasant, well maintained, place to get away from the hustle bustle!
Just outside of Atlantic City. Trails are very well marked. Beautiful Holly trees, Pines and the skyline of AC are just some of the highlights.
If hiking isn't your thing you can do the bird watching drive.

Lucy the Elephant

Originally named Elephant Bazaar, this six-story elephant-shaped building was built in 1881 by James V. Lafferty, Jr. in hopes of selling parcels of land located on the beach in Margate, New Jersey. Over the years, this unique structure has served many purposes -- most notably as a tourist attraction. Today, Lucy the Elephant is recognized as the Oldest Roadside Attraction in the United States and has been declared a National Historic Landmark. Guided Tours through the elephant structure occur every half-hour during business hours, with the last tour of the day beginning 30 minutes prior to closing. And don't forget to shop our Gift Shop for all of your elephant-themed items, including one-of-a-kind Lucy the Elephant souvenirs available nowhere else!

Tour, which is about every half hour, takes about 15 to 20 minutes, but worth it. Guide tells you about Lucy's history and remains available for questions. No bathrooms - go across street to restaurant (they allow it, as the restaurant uses Lucy's parking lot) but the men's room in restaurant has no changing table. Great views from the howdah of Atlantic and Ocean cities. Not something I would go to repeatedly, but go at least once. Inside staircases are narrow and twisting, so recommended that small ones be carried.

Ultimate Battlezone

I was here for my nephews birthday.Party was great.Kids had fun,The young men that were ref's were awesome! So good that my sister put an extra tip in for them with bill. As we were leaving, she told the one young man that she gave tip with bill and to make sure they got it. As we were carrying our stuff out, my sister thanked everyone and reminded the young man about his tip.He thanked my sister and walked over to oriental women at front desk.We heard him tell her what my sister said, and the women yelled, "There's no money!! You will get it next time!!" We were really taken back by her saying that to him. I wanted to go say something, but my sister didn't want to make a scene and thought it would make it worse for the young man. We are still wondering if the young man got his tip and think the owner should probably teach that woman some social etiquette. So my opinion is, great place for party, but didn't like the fact we left wondering if they got their tips.If we are there again, we will personally give the tips to be sure.

Atlantic City Country Club

As one of America's oldest and most prolific golf clubs, Atlantic City Country Club has been home to many firsts, including being the "Birthplace of the Birdie." The earliest traditions of this seaside links course are still evident today. Finely manicured fairways and large sloping green complexes protected by deep sand bunkers remain the course's signature as it did more than a century ago. Long carries over natural ponds and salt water marshes also make the course a formidable challenge for any golfer. Shifting breezes, the distinct scent of saltwater, and windswept fescue only add to the total experience. It's no wonder Atlantic City Country Club is named the #1 Public Golf Course in the State of NJ by Golf Week, Golf Magazine and Golf Digest. ATLANTIC CITY COUNTRY CLUB ALSO FEATURES THE TAPROOM BAR & GRILLE AND EQUISITE WEDDING AND BANQUET FACILITIES.

Fabulous food. Truly gourmet fare. The appetizers ,Tuna Poke Stack and Macadamia Crispy Shrimp, and entrees including Char Grilled Miso Glazed Salmon with Crab Meat and Pan Fried Pierogis with Duck Confit doesn't begin to describe the quality ingredients and presentation of our meals. The desserts were wonderful. I don't know if they have a lunch and dinner menu other than in restaurant week, but they certainly should. Loved it.

Black Cat Bar & Grill

Reviewed By MarineCorpsOne - Buffalo, New York

Stopped in for happy hour to check Black Cat out. Clean, neatly decorated, multifaceted restaurant/bar/food emporium in heavily trafficked area. Free pizza for patrons yet cold, uninspired female bartender busy texting and complaining to couple at end of bar. A real shame because they make great pizza and people flock to Black Cat for it. She could have warmed it up but her miserable demeanor, including multiple F-Bombs, prevented that. Overall, a decent place with really good happy hour prices.
