The beach is nice soft and sandy. The river is fun and can get quite deep. The kids love jumping from the rock ledges and if you are really brave you can try the rope swing into the river!!!

The MAC is a venue for art exhibitions, music performances and other arts and culture events and classes. The exhibitions in our two galleries change every six weeks. We have concerts and story telling events every month. Our git shop is full of art, jewellery, sculpture and all kinds of things all made by local artisans. There's always something going on!

I try to visit the MAC Centre at least once a month to view the exhibitions, and attend an art opening when applicable. Fabulous talent and a great way to spend an hour of reflection. They offer magnificent classes - as a working woman I only wish that there could be more in the evening or on weekends as I truly miss figure drawing. I know this will be available in time post-pandemic. The gift shop is a wonderful addition to to community full of many interesting local finds. If you havent checked the MAC Centre out - I highly recommend popping in periodically throughout the year :)

Lovely, bright, inviting space decorated in a nautical theme; comfortable pedicure chairs; very personable & friendly staff; professional pedicure results at a very good price compared to other, more expensive spas in Parksville. I could barely move I was so tight before I went to see Karen. Honestly, the best massage I’ve ever had in my life!!! She has soothing, healing hands, and knows exactly how to give a deep massage to loosen your body up with Thai Yoga Massage. Also, she’s incredibly kind and a great conservationist. I highly recommend her and I found it very affordable. You won’t be disappointed!!!
