Our bar & shop are open 6 days a week for you to enjoy a drink and take away some beers. Our bar is lovely and cosy with a wood burner for when it’s cold. A large viewing window lets you take a peek into the brewery and distillery and watch us in action on brewing days. For those warmer days we have plenty of spaced out seating among our cider apple trees in our pretty orchard, where you can enjoy sampling from our range of drinks produced on site. We produce a variety of beers, from rich porters or easy drinking session bitters to crisp refreshing pilsners and IPA’s. We press our own Sweeney Mountain Ciders and also have Henstone Distillery gins, and other spirits. We also offer wine, cocktails and soft drinks. Food available from 12pm - 7pm Wednesday - Saturday from our very own BBQ & smoker. BBQ chicken; burgers; pizzas & lighter options. Dogs and children are very welcome. A trip to Oswestry is not complete until you’ve visited us!

In the ‘heyday’ of canals, thousands of horses were employed pulling cargo boats along the canals of England and Wales. Today our narrowboat “Countess” is one of only half a dozen horse-drawn narrowboats in the country. She is the only one running regular cruises on the narrow canals of the UK.
