Small mozzarella cheese factory runned by the Pipino family for over 40 years in the center of the ancient town of Oria. Come to find the original mozzarella, burrata, scamorza, etc. All fresh cheeses home made as you watch. On request it is possible to arrange cheeses and wine tasting, guided visit and/or workshops.
We arrived at the shop a little early. We were welcomed right away and offered something to drink. The tour of the cheesemaking was very clear and interesting. The people are very very kind and are ready to answer your questions with a lot of passion. Just 10 minutes after the cheese process was done we were eating it! It was so very delicious! 11/10 would recommend to a friend ????????

My name is Maria, I am the cook at Masseria Palombara Restaurant. Cooking has always been my passion, I learned to cook my mother and taught myself the secrets of the Apulian tradition. After school I decided to follow the love for cooking, I attended the Med Cooking School with Antonella Ricci (1 Michelin star) and then I started working in the kitchens of restaurants. From 5 years ago I was the manager of the "Apulian Cooking Experience" at Masseria Palombara.

This is a beautiful cathedral outside. Personally found it a little disappointing inside as well as the opening and closing times were frustrating to gain access. Across is the Museum of Archeology which was very interesting and well worth a visit. I found my way to the roof top Bishop's Garden which had NO TOURISTS in site and i had a lovely quiet and shaded rest up there for a little while. Stunning panoramic view of the coast line and lower lying area of Ostuni. The White City of Ostuni is a definite MUST VISIT if you are going to be in Puglia. It was the most interesting town I visited in my 2 week stay.
