Escape the Room is a fun, interactive entertainment concept located at the Oakbrook Center in Oak Brook, Chicago. While the rooms look like any other ordinary room, it’s actually a real life adventure game designed for small groups of friends, families, co-workers or strangers. Find the hidden objects, figure out the clues and solve the puzzles to earn your freedom and “Escape the Room.”
We all had such a great time. The room was fun and the staff was great-would definitely recommend it and would love to try one of the other rooms.

The Lizzadro Museum recently relocated to Oak Brook. We opened our doors in our new facility on November 12, 2019. Our museum was founded by Joseph Lizzadro in order to share his love of Lapidary Art with others. The Museum opened its doors in Elmhurst on November 4, 1962 with this statement of purpose from the Lizzadro Family, "To share with others our enjoyment of the eternal beauty in gemstones and our appreciation of the art with which man has complemented the works of nature". The museum is still owned and operated by the Lizzadro Family.
The Museum has just reopened with limited visitation (due to the Covid-19 Pandemic). I went on a Saturday and was the only visitor, otherwise it was just the staff. Although they wanted/preferred reservations, I was allowed in without one since there weren't others. The Museum boasts a large collections of Jade carving, Rocks from different countries and interactive screens. I spent about an hour at the museum.

I stop here almost always when I need to breath between meetings and clients . Perfect spot for a short or longer walk and for relaxing. I went to the museum once so now I just walk around it’s grounds.

On the National Register of Historic Places, Mayslake Hall stands as a rare surviving example of the magnificent country houses that were built in DuPage County during the Gilded Age. It now serves the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County as a cultural education center, home to concerts, theatre, art exhibits and art and photo classes. We offer historic tours of the mansion on Wednesdays at 11am & 11:30am and on Saturdays at 9:30am, 10am, 11am and 11:30am.

Willow Crest Golf Club is located at the Oak Brook Hills Resort. The course was designed by Dick Nugent and is Audubon Certified. The golf course features gently rolling bent grass contoured fairways, quick rolling and well bunkered greens along with an abundant amount of water with its six ponds. The golf course layout is very challenging yet enjoyable for golfers of every skill level.

Wow! I lived in Chicago 20 years ago and barely recognized this part of town when I visited this time. Super, super fancy outdoor mall with every high end brand imaginable. Food options are Ok, not awesome.

We (wife and I) spent a sunny July afternoon hiking / biking through Fullersburg Woods enjoying the wonderful surrounding nature. Fullersburg Woods Forest Preserve in Oak Brook a hidden nature haven in an urban setting. The main trail is about a 3 mile loop meandering through the forest setting as it follows Salt Creek which winds around the bluff and past a few islands on its way to the historic watermill at the southern end of the park. The wide trail is paved with fine gravel, and is better enjoyed on a leisurely bike ride or on a hike. The trail crosses the creek a few times by means of beautiful bridges. The trail is well-marked and easy to follow and maps are located at major intersections of trail paths. Picnic shelters and rest benches are installed frequently along the trail. The dam/waterfall is worth lingering to enjoy. The other main features in the park like the Graue Mill Museum, Nature Center and Ben Fuller House were not open when we visited due to the pandemic. Fullersburg Woods is very popular and is widely used for hiking, fishing and boating. This is a really enjoyable place.

We had Sunday Brunch there and it was YUMMY!! John the manager helped out with a small issue and it was resolved instantly. So easy to work with. Excellent! Tavo was our waiter and he was excellent also. He didn't hover, but he kept the table clean and the water filled. He was polite and helpful. We were so very lucky to have them helping us that day. The food was scrumptious and when they run out, they fill it up again. There was something for everyone, from the fantastic roast beef to the unending omelette bar to deserts a plenty. The Biscuits and gravy were great but a bit spicy for me. The pastas and salads were wonderful also. Great brunch! If you haven't tried it, you should! Thanks Pinstripes. I went home with a very full and happy belly~ Service with a smile~
