Popular replica of an Indian settlement.

The visitor centre is bright and modern, the staff are knowledgeable and helpful. The exhibits inside and out are interesting. The marsh trail is a scenic beauty. It is an easy walk and about half way there is a viewing area which gives you an outstanding view of the marshlands and the ocean. A really pleasant way to spend a couple of hours.

This preserve is a great place to commune with nature and watch the sunset.

Very nice place to walk and be out in nature. Good for birding. Be prepared for noisy people! This past Sat, one person thought he'd entertain his friends by singing as he walked. So much for appreciating nature! Recommend going early to avoid the crowds of you are into birding. Also bring bug repellant, especially for one of the trails along the pond.

Skaket Beach

Wonderful beach to swim if you prefer the mild waves of the bay. Paved parking, daily fee on season. Bathroom facilities.

Small sandy beach, west facing for beautiful sunsets. Sadly, like many bay beaches, grass is fast encroaching on the available beach area, so the future is in question.

This was our last stop on our 3 day mini-golf Cape Cod PGA tour. (Okay, the PGA part is an exaggeration!) This is just a really neat side trip. for 10.50 for 3 people we played a very nice 18 hole course designed with a farm and antique farm equipment motif. Some easy holes to master and a few challenging ones. Well worth 10.50! The gift shop is MASSIVE and contains toys, jewelry, beachy-themed home décor, all things emblazoned with "CAPE COD", and plenty of tchotchkes with lobsters on them. Some retired Studio 56 Christmas items and other collectibles like Snow Babies, Angels, and Christmas dolls. We found a few little items for our daughter and she seemed to enjoy poking around the store.

Stopped here for the day to soak up the sunshine. Nice beach, we got the bonus of watching seals near the shore looking for food. Everyone was taking pictures and watching the seals. Pretty cool.

The kids from the local high school or having their gym class there. I think they were running one of the trails. My first stop of several beaches. There is the lighthouse there.
