I was surprised to see this nice of a collection of planes at a small airport like Chino. They do monthly talks about different planes and the difference from this one and others is that they actually fly. This is also a great venue for special events. We rented the facility for a surprise 50th Birthday party for my son-in-law. The staff were friendly and helpful and the were happy to answer everyone's questions about the planes.

The Inspired by His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj, a handful of devotees began conducting weekly assemblies in the late 1970's and early 1980's. In 1984, His Holiness inaugurated the first BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir in Whittier, California, a small suburb just outside of Los Angeles. With the guidance and blessings of His Holiness, the congregation grew from just a handful of families to a strong group of dedicated devotees who yearned for spiritual growth. In 2000, His Holiness visited the current site of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Chino Hills and invigorated the congregation's desire to build a traditional Hindu Mandir. The congregation completed with Haveli building (more commonly known as the Visitors Center) in 2007. In 2012, the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Chino Hills was dedicated and opened with great joy. This Mandir is the fifth traditional Hindu Mandir in North America.
This is a beautiful Hindu temple. Perhaps one of the most expansive religious, learning centers in the entire United States. The fact is, it is simply awesome.
I have been coming to this shrine since it opened. Throughout these years, it has constantly been under construction and reconstruction. At some point, perhaps it will finally be completed. Which I'm sure will just be beautiful. This fact is just something to let you know what is going on, as when you go here, it is not uncommon that you will see workmen working on the various amenities throughout these grounds.
The main focus of these grounds is obviously the temple itself. But, there is also other facilities throughout the grounds: a large banquet facility, a cafeteria, a food store, a youth learning center and gymnasium, and even a gift shop. So, all of your needs are taken care of.
One thing to note, and something to keep in mind when you come here, this is not a tourist destination as some people seem to think it is. It is a religious shrine. So, when you come here, even if you are not a practicing Hindu, please respect the sanctity of this location.
All this being said, this is a beautiful temple facility. Hindu or not, coming here, you will definitely feel the out reaching spirituality.

S&D Horseback Riding has been in business for over 20 years. Our Friendly Professional staff looks forward to taking you and who ever you would like to bring on a Private Trail Ride. We are located next to amazing riverbed riding trails through the hidden valley wild life preserve. We recommend setting a reservation but are happy to take you on a ride any time if we have horses and staff available so please just give us a call any time. Thank you
My boyfriend and I went on their 2hr lesson trail ride earlier in the year and we have since purchased a riding block so we can keep coming back. 4 trail rides later and we can't get enough of this place! We've had Luis and Raul as guides and both have been excellent. All trail rides are private for your group, whether you have 1 rider or 10, so if you/your group is more experienced then the guides will take you on a faster paced ride. They also allow (and actually prefer) riding side by side, which is unusual for trail riding in this area and is great if you're riding as a couple. The guides are great about taking pictures and are always attentive to your comfort level as well as the horse's safety.

First time here and I was super impressed! I will definitely be back!
Pros:
The area is absolutely beautiful.
The trails are split.. one side dirt for horses and the other concrete for walking, running & biking.
Beautiful Frisbee Golf area.
Nice separate area with a small jogging circuit area interspersed with exercise equipment.
The area was like some kind of wildlife sanctuary?
Parking areas available
Saw lots of little lizards, butterflies and bunnies!
People using the trail all seemed friendly.
Cons:
No bathrooms anywhere in sight.. not even in the kiddie park area!
Not much shade over trails.
I wish there were a few benches spread about because sometimes I like to take a break so that I can go further.
I don't particularly feel that this is totally safe to walk alone?
They need a map. We had no idea where we were going, how far we walked out where the trail on the opposite direction led?

Wow it's been over a year since my brother and I took the Fender tour.I live in San Diego so it was only an hour and a half trip.If you play guitar or just play air guitar, you need to take this tour. I don't remember how much it was or even if I paid anything at all. The tour was at different times,we took the 12 noon tour. We were taken to all fazes of this working warehouse. We were shown how the various types of guitars were made. Then we were taken to the Famous custom shoppe !We saw pretty awesome guitars. Some of these guitars are going to some pretty famous people. This is a real gem in Corona ca

Yanks Air Museum houses one of the largest and most historically significant collections of American aircraft including the World War II fighters, dive and torpedo bombers. The aircraft collection begins with the 1903 Wright Flyer (only replica in collections) and continues through the 1980s era represented by the F-15 Eagle, F-16 Fighting Falcon and Blue Angels F-18 Hornet. The collection now numbers more than 190 aircraft and continues to grow, many are the last surviving examples of their kind. Yanks restores all aircraft to airworthy condition, in the restoration of these rare aircraft, only original factory specifications & materials are used.
There are two air museums at the Chino airport but this one is certainly by far the best!! They even have open cockpit days where you can climb inside and see for yourself what the pilots and crew see first hand. Put yourself in an F-15 strike eagle, or a B-25 bomber from WW 2. They have it all and best air museum I have ever been to.

The only wineries still open to the public in this area are Galleano, San Antonio, and Joseph Filippi. The other two are newer tasting rooms, this one is the most historic and picturesque. Also cheap! Wine tasting is $5 but they waive the fee if you buy something, even a $14 GALLON of cheap but drinkable zinfandel and other wine, or the $10 delicious peach and raspberry champagnes. I always try to stop here when traveling between LA and the IE.

This park is well maintained & has just put in new sod in certain areas. Nice built in bathrooms except the far fields they had porta potties. It was really hot but this is expected in Norco. Between all the easy ups belonging to parents on the team we had shade.

A 377-acre park dedicated to the preservation of California's citrus heritage. Docent guided grove tours (Tour & Taste) start PROMPTLY at 1030, 1200, & 2pm on weekends (depending on docent availability). Not all docents give grove tours. No reservations required. Tour group size limited to 15 guests. It is advised that you call the Visitor Center to make sure tours are available on the day you plan to visit the park.
California Citrus State Park was on my list of things to do while in Southern California. We were not disappointed! This park preserves some of the rapidly vanishing cultural landscape of the citrus industry and tells the story of this industry's role in the history and development of California. The visitor center/museum was full of informative exhibits and all of the volunteers are informed and engaging. Be sure to call ahead to take part in the guided tour through the grove. From the initial tastings upon entering to the samples our guide gave us fresh off the trees, we had generous samples of most of the fruit grown there. This is certainly one of our favorite hidden gems we've discovered while traveling and recommend you take time to visit if in the area.
