I loved this museum. We took our 5 year old daughter here and spent at least 4 hours exploring the 4 levels and surroundings. The building itself is a great architectural work. There are many different exhibits from physics, to dinosaurs, to space exploration, and machines. Our daughters' favorites were the train (same as the Botchan Train in Matsuyama), the building blocks with marbles, the human video video game in the Space exhibit, and the electricity exhibit. A few years ago we went to the CosmoCaixa Barcelona (Children's Museum) in Spain and that is considered one of the best children's museum in the world. That one is a little newer, but I felt the Ehime one was on the same level. World class.

別子銅山を住友グループが開館した記念館でした。
５月に開鉱されたということもあり、さつきが１００００本ほど植えられているようです。
美しかったですよ！！

Nostalgic area for the Mine. You can see a lot of heritage on Meiji generations. Around 3,800 person's stay in that town.

広い境内に広々とした建屋があり、掃除も行き届いており、曹洞宗の雲水修業ができる名刹という雰囲気を十分感じられる寺です。修行一泊3000円とのことで魅力を感じますが、人気が高く常に20名が雲水で修行しているこのことです。

ランニングしたりウォーキングしたりさまざまなスポーツを楽しまれていたり。フリーな良いスペースです。ウォーキングもコースを検討すればかなりの高低差が生まれるので、わたしは勝手にランニング的だ！と思ってぐるぐる回ってます。

記念館で拝観料を支払うので、そこまでの道のりは無料で見学できます。紅葉見学にもってこいでした。この周辺は総称して広瀬公園と呼ばれていますが、なんかすごい量のねこがいました。捨て猫なんですかね？どこに餌あるんだろう？ちょっと不思議な光景です。

11月下旬穏やかな日曜日に行きました。
公園内ではのんびり過ごす親子連れがいました。
展望台はいい場所にありますが、あまり手入れされてなく、夏に生い茂っていた草が枯れたままになっていました。
遊具では子供たちが長い滑り台楽しんでいました。

JR新居浜駅直ぐ近くの古墳跡です。小高い山状に整備されており、頂上部分まで徒歩で上がる事が出来ました。ベンチが設置されていたり、トイレ完備となっていたので公園としての位置付けのようでした。
