This farm is famous for its Maytag Blue cheese.
Covid-19 has made a trip to anywhere outside my house just about impossible. So, how do I make the inside of my house into a destination? One way: After a wonderful dinner main course -- my wife is SO good -- I cut off from my two-pound wheel a spoke of Maytag blue cheese which I put on a cracker and consumed with a glass of Sauterne, THE French sweet dessert wine. The two go together SO well, I was encouraged to try another. I was beside myself. And since there were now two of me, PARTY TIME! Maytag blue is an American gem. The shipping is prompt and, frankly, the way the cheese is packed is itself an art form. My advice for this trip: Put the cheese on a plane and then on a truck that brings it to your home. Pandemic? Quarantine? OK. Pass the Maytag!.

The races here are action packed and good entertainment. The facility is in great shape and clean. The races are well run by the facility with little delay during the race. Wish they had more bands there other than race weekends.

I was lucky to have my sister-in-law to know about this public garden. Most of the plants are identified and many were in bloom during our visit the end of April. If in the area and want a quiet place to be surrounded by a lovely garden with a few benches highly suggest you visit.
