We offer lessons, activity days, camps, 'own a pony' days, birthday parties, beach and trail hacks for all ages from 4 years upwards from qualified instructors and staff who are First Aid trained and DBS checked. We welcome novice and experienced riders with or without their own horse and have both adult and child beginners groups as well as one to one tuition with a structured program allowing riders to monitor their progress towards industry qualifications. Our instructors have experience working with both children and adults with physical and learning difficulties so please enquire for more details. Ladies mornings are a great opportunity to ride and meet new and existing friends in a social environment. If returning to the saddle after a long break we can help you with confidence building sessions
Definitely one of the best family accommodation places we have had. Very helpful staff. Plenty of room for our very varied large family unit. Including teens & young children (The dates on trip advisor won't let me change to actual)

An Elizabethan artillery fortress, a king's prison and a royal summer residence. Carisbrooke is a quintessential romantic castle. Here you'll find loveable donkeys, a fascinating museum and an Edwardian garden. Your can also experience hundreds of years of history with entertaining events in the summer.
Visited many times. Love the donkey demonstration turning the wheel to collect water. Lovely place with lots of history - amusing video summarizing the castles history "narrated" by Jupiter the donkey (my kids loved it) lots of English Heritage events throughout the year. Jousting our particular favourite. Visited many times!
