The Lake has all sorts of activities for kids; sailing, paddle boarding, movies, row boats, swimming, kayaking and fishing. In the summer there are concerts by well known artists. Bring a picnic and enjoy the Lake.
We love sailing;ing on the lake. They also have party boats.

Irvine Spectrum Center is one of Southern California's most popular shopping, dining and entertainment lifestyle destinations. The center features Nordstrom and Target, along with more than 130 stores, restaurants and entertainment venues, including Improv Comedy Club and Edwards Irvine Spectrum 21 IMAX & RPX.
This is my favourite mall in the Orange County area!
We came here a few evenings for dinner (lots of restaurants to choose from). I shopped here on my own one afternoon (hubby was in business meetings). Lots of parking.
You can ride the ferris wheel or carousel, see a movie, get ice cream, etc. Outdoor malls are so nice.

I was amazed with their online services. I finally got the chance to visit the beautiful church with great music and relevant message. Sitting in the live worship helps me feel the music and the energy of the patrons. You get to see the full stage and the full members/ visitors without all that screen editing from the online service. Their music is like a concert, loud but uplifting. If you can't see, then there are two giant HD screens on both sides. When done, there are tables outside for small groups, singles, connections and other resources. Plenty of parking. The friendly ushers make you feel at home. The nice drive to the church already gives you a sense of peace and so will their weekly messages. One tip I want to leave is that the live speaker is usually on the Saturday, 4:00 pm service but there are other service times with the message recorded.

I visit Aliso Viejo often, and walk many mornings at this park. It is at 28373 Alicia Parkway, Laguna Niguel. You can park on the road or in the paid parking lot if the road is full. I usually walk on the bike path to the south, but there are many wonderful walks that I've taken. The birds and plants are wonderful. During school sessions, there are lots of kids walking or biking to school in the early morning. This path is along Aliso Creek, and there are so many wonderful birds, particularly in the winter.

Spent many days here hiking and camping with my sons scouts troops. Saw 5 deer walking through the park together one morning. This park is awesome for families!

Heisler Park is a very photogenic spot stretching along the protected Laguna Beach nature preserve. It offers scenic views of offshore rocks and several paths down on to the sand. There is sometimes scarce metered parking all along the edge of the park.

Famous for the Annual Return of the Swallows, Mission San Juan Capistrano, historic landmark and museum, welcomes over 300,000 visitors each year. Enhance your visit with our new multi-language Audio Tour available in English, Spanish, French and German and now offered free with admission. Enjoy permanent exhibits featuring historic and religious artifacts, precious and rare paintings, and more. Experience the tradition of bell ringing daily honoring the legacy of Saint Junipero Serra, who founded the Mission in 1776. Visit the newly conserved Serra Chapel, California’s only chapel still standing where Saint Serra celebrated Mass and where the Eucharist has been celebrated daily.
I was reluctant to go at first but admission price of $10 was acceptable. I was pleasantly surprised by the gorgeous gardens. Beautiful old cacti and flowering varieties. My only complaint would be that nothing was labeled, though as I was leaving and returning the audio guide, which is included in the price of admission, I noticed there was a plant brochure available for two dollars which did list some of the plants. It wasn’t offered to us nor did I see it at the ticket counter. It would be nice if it were free or at least promoted. I would go back if I were in the area.

This is such an adorable place to take the kiddos! I took my toddler one afternoon and he had the best time. There are so many things for the kids to do here, they can really pretend to be just about anything. Emergency dispatcher, dentist,...MoreThank you for your review Maya!
