Bayside Marketplace

Large waterfront shopping, entertainment and dining area.

Reviewed By Christene545 - Columbus, Ohio

Lively open air marketplace with lots of bars and restaurants. There's shopping as well. But from what I saw it does not appear as though people go there for the shopping. Loved the live Latin music and the food. Ate at Latin American Cuban Cuisine and it was wonderful. My husband got a Cuban sandwich and I got grilled fish with moros and cassava (both sides are a must!). We then took an evening Millionaire's Row sightseeing cruise. The homes and yachts were ridiculously beautiful. We only had one evening to spend in Miami before leaving for our cruise the next morning and I'm very happy with our choice. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was due to our experience with taxis. Beware of being overcharged because you are a tourist! Negotiate a fare upfront.

It was really exciting! The boat was super clean, fast enough and very easy and funny to drive; the guide was amazing..a good english (I mean no slang, no fast talk - great for european tourists) and he has a great knowledge of the area. We appreciated a lot the trip, and we spotted a dolphin too! Thanks again for the fantastic experience, take care guys!

Miami Shores Country Club

A challenge and in better condition than some of its neighbours e.g. Country Club of Miami. Very welcoming pro shop and starter, the latter went to great trouble to introduce us to the couple we were to play with. Lots of iguanas around the water on a few holes added to the entertainment.

The lounge and bar were great and the service friendly.

South Beach

People watching is a great pastime in Miami's South Beach, which draws celebrities and beautiful people in skimpy swim attire to see and be seen. The wide and fine, white sand-covered beaches are popular spots for fashion photo shoots, so you're sure to see models. The area is known for its hip clubs and wild nightlife as well as numerous excellent restaurants.

Nice boulevard on Lincoln drive, however missing some really cosey places on the beach. Too much of the same. Looking and to be seen!

Oleta River State Park

These trails, built on flat land, are full of technical challenges.

Quiet beach with washrooms , picnic benches and bbq , ready for large or small groups this quite beach is sheltered from winds so when the seaside is too windy ( especially for children ) this is a great beach !

They also have kilometres of wilderness bike trails that are quite fun with bridges and twist and turns very exiting .

You can also rent kayaks and paddle the many little rivers within the park ,

A very interesting place for the whole family , 1 car fee 6$ , a bargain ....

Haulover Beach Park

Nestled between the Intercoastal Waterway and Atlantic Ocean, this scenic park boasts white sandy beaches, open ocean surf and sweeping dunes.

Reviewed By 1Jaybee1 - Newport News, Virginia

Parking was $7. This was my first time at a nude beach and even though I knew what to expect, it was still shocking to see a LOT of naked people. The beach is gorgeous. There is a bathroom/rinse off place right before you get to the beach. I didn't see anyone selling anything so it's best to be prepared and bring your food/drink.

Lincoln Road

Lincoln Road is Miami Beach's premier shopping, dining, and people-watching destination. Just blocks from the beach, you'll discover a bustling mile-long stretch of excellent restaurants, fantastic shopping, and brimming sidewalk cafés.

Reviewed By Yugeshree - Ballito, South Africa

We walked almost five blocks from the outdoor mall down to the beach. It’s a good spot to people watch. Along the road, there are a few tacky souvenirs shops to get a quirky or cheap souvenir. Around the outdoor mall area, there is a coffee shop, pizzeria and other restaurants, so a good choice to have a sit down meal

Beautiful beach, not crowded at all. Lovely walking paths and a separate bike lane that goes for miles. Truly lovely. Heavy surf though and many many Portuguese Man of Wars and sone jellyfish. The PMOW are blue puffy things that look like baggies with long tentacles but they have a ferocious sting so beware!
