Southern Belle Farm in McDonough, GA, (south Atlanta metro) is a 200-acre working farm, with U Pick strawberries, pumpkins, a corn maze, and old-fashioned family fun. Hosting educational field trips, weddings, birthday parties and facilities to host corporate group events year round.
We visit the farm to feed and pet the goats and donkeys, to photograph the beautiful scenery and to visit the new store. The store offers home-made ice cream, beef jerky, fresh in-season produce, steaks, sausage, ground beef, and jellies and jams. The fall harvest event will be celebrated in three weeks which includes a corn maze, home-made fruit pies, hay rides, and other fun things for the family to do. The front and side porches of the store offer rocking chairs for visitors to relax and take in conversation with one another or to take in the beautiful scenery. We spend a least two hours here because the farm is so peaceful.

We visited this afternoon for a wonderful time following a wonderful brunch. The square is replete with history, culture, and well placed benches for a sit in the park. During the summer evenings there are sponsored concerts and movies on the square, all free of charge. It's a great place to meet and relax with friends and family.

There was a bar side with hi tables and stools along with the bar stools. Then the other side was for anyone but more family and friends who want to socialize without talking over tv's and those who were vocally enjoying themselves. Then there is also outside seating weather permitting of course. Wings were very good. The cheese sticks are obscenely huge (more like cheese logs) but still tasty. They have a few video games for kids and a couple of pool tables also. Service was decent so yes we will definitely dine at 3 dollar cafe again and soon.
