We went by foot all the way up take us around 45 minutes, watching amazing view of The Big Valley where matagalpa is, betel l between beautiful mountain, we went to see the sunset. Well impressive but from the from the other side of town. On the way back we took the turibus, he is running from the cathedral all the way to the Mirador, Was so much fun to go down with it l when you sit on the top level of the bus it's feel like you're on the roller coaster! every decent the bus took everyone was shouting, trying to avoid trees from the side of the road, was very very fun! You can take it from the cathedral, every hour... Was a nice afternoon

Selva Negra's Coffee Tour is the only full coffee experience you will encounter. Touring an active functioning coffee farm during coffee harvest (November to February) you will see the process that your favorite drink undergoes. The rest of the year, you will still get to tour the farm, since coffee works go on all year long. Selva Negra is much more than coffee, we're a full almost self-sustainable farm and ecolodge.
We did the farm tour with Manuel and the coffee and night tour with Jose. Both guides knew English very well and seemed to really enjoy doing their work and stand behind it. Even when we asked about other topics or animals that we saw on our way, they were able to answer mostly everything. We had a lot of fun and would anyone who wants to learn some interesting facts about organic, sustainable and fair production in Nicaragua to do some of these tours.

Located 40 kilometers away from the city of Matagalpa in the community of La Empresa is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in all of Nicaragua. Cascada de la Luna is a 40 meter waterfall that overlooks the lush nicaraguan forest. Our cooperative operates ziplining across the waterfall as well as hiking tours and kayaking.
Just north of matagalpa there lies this remarkable geological feature of a waterfall. The tour company established to provide enjoyment and economic sustainability to the region expertly constructed a zip line that takes down the face of the incredible waterfall. Hiking and trails and swim holes abound. Not to missed for the adventurous and spirited should. Very affordable. Great service. Highly recommended.

Great place, great chocolate made by three ladies. Step aside Hershey. This is REAL chocolate. Our tour was great and the chocolate and coffee at the end is the best.
