Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and a wonderful example of Victorian Italianate architecture, the Granger House Museum is the only restored middle-class family home in Linn County. Occupied by a single family for nearly 100 years, the house contains many of its original furnishings and is arranged to reflect the lifestyle of a successful, late 19th-century middle-class family. Behind the home is an 1879 brick carriage house, the only one of its kind in the Midwest, which contains a variety of artifacts revealing the owner’s involvement with Morgan horses, dairying, and farming. The museum is open seasonally, but tours for individuals or groups may be scheduled by appointment throughout the year.

We stayed at the campground in this huge park for 2 nights and it's the best campground I have been in! The park itself is spectacular - golf course, three large dog parks, a lodge that can be rented, a playground, bike and walking trails, etc. The campground is in one section of the park. The sites in Loop A are very large. When we looked out the passenger side of our motorhome, all we saw was a large green yard with trees. Our neighbors were more than a stone's throw away by far. Easy to reserve and easy to use. You don't realize that a town is close by at all but when you leave the park, it is a 2 minute drive to a Walmart, Dairy Queen and several restaurants. Highly recommend! Accommodates large rigs, too.

2016 - Celebrating TEN years in Uptown Marion. We create fine chocolate AND we sell fine chocolate all in one location in beautiful historic Uptown Marion. All our "chocolate insides" are cooked on sight and then hand rolled or cut and then covered in fine milk or dark chocolate. Worth the Drive…. Worth THE walk…. to THE chocolate SHOP.
You;ll think you're in heaven when you bite into one of their truffles. So many flavors to choose from you'll have to try several. Rather expensive, but the best chocolate shop in the Cedar Valley. Add their truffles to a special dinner and your guests will be in for a very special treat.
