Our family has owned the same land since the beginning of 1800. For many generations we have produced grapes. Our vineyards are located in the heart of the "Valpolicella Classico" region, above Marano di Valpolicella. They are located in the beautiful hillsides of Valpolicella, at an elevation of 450 meters above sea level all with a great southern exposure throughout the growing season.

Corte Borghetti 200 years of history, 4 generations, a unique passion ... Valpolicella. The winery Corte Borghetti is located in the heart of the classic Valpolicella region. An area suited to the production of great wines of quality and prestige thanks to its dominant hilly location between Verona, Lake Garda and the Lessini Mountains. In one of the most strikingly beautiful valleys of the region lies Marano di Valpolicella, where we nd Villa Borghetti. Our most important guarantee is the devoted and constant work undertaken in the vineyard and in cellar. Producing wine, in fact, is to be open to the risks of nature, the unpredictability of the seasons. Our aim has always been to indulge and harness the characteristics of nature and produce wines that re ect them. We produce 5 wines: the four great classics of the land, Valpolicella Classico, Valpolicella Superiore, Ripasso, Amarone and nally a white sparkling wine named Tre orThree.

In one of the most suggestive and luxurious areas of Alta Valpolicella, on the top of a gentle and sunny hill and on the left of the Marano Valley, there is a large manor overlooking the valley and the plain separating the latter from the ancient Roman city of Verona. Organic for lots of people is a trend, for others a business opportunity. For Novaia organic production is the natural consequence of a lifestyle. It's a choice of responsibility towards the environment, a commitment towards future generations and the planet we will leave them.
Everything about this winery was beautiful--the vineyards, the wine, the tasting room, the welcome. We went to Novaia as part of a Pagus wine tour and are SO glad we did. The owner--a lovely older gentleman who spoke only in Italian--gave us a tour, showed us the vines and cellar, and provided the history of the vineyard before providing a lovely tasting. Three different types of cheeses were provided with the wines to pair and you could tell the owner had a deep passion and love for his wines. Even though our wine tour guide had to translate the entire time--the owner's son (who speaks English) was not there--hearing the owner speak only in Italian somehow added even more magic to the experience. If you can only go to a few vineyards during your trip, make sure to put Novaia towards the top of your list.
