This renowned combination zoo, natural history museum, botanical garden and art gallery reflects the diverse flora and fauna of the Sonoran Desert, featuring wildlife such as coyotes, bears and mountain lions in their natural settings and two aviaries; one for hummingbirds and the other for varied desert birds.
We were part of a group and had limited time. Lots of grate live displays. Lots of walking. It is well laid out with lots of creative and unusual features like sun tan lotion in the bathrooms, water in strategic areas throughout the park, etc.

The Gallery Grille nourishes friendship, camaraderie, family and spirit. It is where great food and drink meets exceptional people. Our lounge is where our members and guests recap their round, and settle their wagers. The decor and amazing views may be distracting as you are visually engaged by the Tortolita Mountains. This is a place where you feel comfortable right away whether it's your first time visiting or you are a member. Multiple televisions keep you up to date on sports and news while your server brings an array of amazing meals to tempt your palate. Don't forget to try our famous onion rings while you are here! Beyond the lounge, The Grille offers a full dining experience that exudes casual elegance. Our main dining room is spacious and welcoming with our goal being big smiles! Refreshing drinks and a unique menu are paired with breathtaking views of the Catalina and Tortolita Mountains. Our fun, yet relaxing atmosphere combined with our friendly staff and creative culinary team will give you an unforgettable experience that will leave you craving more
Arrived with a group of golfers and rented a cottage for the week. The golf courses are excellent and the service at both the pro shop and bar/restaurant was exceptional. The cottages are clean and the property is in excellent shape. Small issue with the hot tub but this was minor. Definitely would return and recommend to anyone who enjoys golf.

Excellent hike if you're interested in the desert environment. Pretty easy, but go early tho, because it is blistering hot by noon (for this coastal resident,

Tucked away at the base of the scenic Tortolita Mountains, this Arthur Hill-designed championship course features hilly terrain and meandering lakes that add up to a unique character.
We spend a week every March with our parents and both think Heritage is heaven on earth. Incredible golf course, great restaurant, fantastic staff, gorgeous pool, and amazingly friendly residents are a few of the reasons we feel this way. The golf course is challenging and always in great shape. Some of the toughest greens to putt that I've ever experienced. Great place!

This was my second time horseback riding and my husbands first. It was a great day, the sun was warm and the ride was beautiful looking at the mountains. The wranglers were very nice and told us the history behind each horse. When I say this ranch was way out of the way I truly mean way way out. You follow a dirt road for 6 miles( in a car it's alittle bumpy). The horses were just wonderful, responded to every command. Even all of the ranches dogs came along for the ride.
The only negative thing was that we paid for a 90 minute trail and it was only an hour;-(

Not on the beaten path. Glad to see they have improved their remote signage as they are a few blocks off a major street, but tucked away. Owners are very personable! Had a good time just chilling in this quaint establishment. Beers we had were very enjoyable and hope to get some for my home tap. Food is dependent on food trucks, so hopefully they can get a steady rotation as they day we were there, no trucks on site. I will go here for the beer, but food and beer is so much better.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary with a couples spa day at the Ritz Carlton Dove Mountain. It quickly proved to be more than we anticipated. The attention and pampering that we received was outstanding. The venue was beautiful and serene. The massage was outstanding. True to Ritz style, they thought of everything and proved to anticipate and accommodate every little need to make it the most enjoyable and memorable experience. We had the Couples Retreat package which included a 50 minute Massage and 25 minute Aromatherapy Bath. The suite was large and beautiful. We left feeling so relaxed that we wished we could have stayed longer. The spa facility is offered for a full day until 6pm, if spa services are purchased. We are locals and had to leave to pick up our children but next time we will definitely reserve a room and stay for at least a night. There is a private pool area, separate women's and men's facilities and a co-ed area. Light dining is also offered. I will always recommend the spa as well as everything that the Ritz Dove Mountain has to offer!
The attendants were amazingly courteous, patient and calming.

We took my son and his friends (10-13 year old) to play at Disruptive this past weekend. The staff was awesome separating the players in to fair and appropriate groups. All the boys had a blast and shared their "battle wounds" after every game. I would highly recommend going out to disruptive for fun or even a "team building" event for your staff or team.

This botanical is an easy walk from the Red Lion Inn just of Oracle /St. We got in with free passes from the local Chamber of Commerce. Loved seeing all the cactus especially the barrel cactus that is currently being studied to see how fast...MoreThe Monarch Way Station is really interesting and fun to watch. This is a great time of year to see all species of butterflies flitting about in the gardens. Thank you for visiting Tohono Chul and we hope to see you again soon.
