God's Hill Wines is a producer of boutique premium wines. Our cellar door is a rustic workers shed in the middle of a vineyard with stunning views of the surrounding Barossa ranges. We offer pizza all day long. So whether it's a tasting of our wines or a glass or bottle to enjoy with friends, you wont find a better landscape to create lasting memories. You can also try our estate grown olives and olive oil. An unreplicated and magical experience is guaranteed at our winery. A slice of Italy right in the Barossa Valley.
A great hospitality and views and wine to die for :) Both Charlie and Sharlyn were a great hosts , we instantly felt welcomed and had a great time with our friends celebrating my birthday. We will be back!

Family owned Five Star winery with award winning wines and cider. Visit our famous mud brick cellar door and enjoy spectacular views over the Barossa Ranges with a local produce platter on the lawn in summer or by our roaring open fire in winter.
Just an all over fantastic experience with Kellermeister as always. Fantastic service, gorgeous food and wine, stunning cellar door, beautiful views and fun lawn games. A fantastic afternoon out.

Booked in on a scoopon voucher. Staff were very welcoming and fabulous. Very friendly and had time for a good chat about the wines. Had a great platter and glass of wine for lunch and so impressed with the wines and hospitality we purchased a number of bottles to take home. All in all a very nice experience.

The origins of 1847 Wines begin with Bavarian immigrant Johann Gramp, who in 1847 planted the first commercial vineyard in the Barossa Valley. - See more at:
Being surrounded by vintage buildings of a prestigious winery and lovely gardens etc was a photographer's delight as was the tasting session. Good wines, good surrounds and good friends - wonderful. We were the only two in the tasting room at midday Christmas Eve and had the full attention of a very nice young man who managed our tasting. The wines we tasted were excellent, several vintage ports, reds and sparkling reds. Even if you don't drink wine or want to taste any, you must visit 1847 Wines Chateau Tanunda just to see the lovely buildings, gardens and wooden furniture.

A great place to walk and see something approaching the natural bushland of the Barossa Valley. Altona Scrub has been rescued and rehabilitated by a local land-care group. It is inspiring as well as enjoyable. We took the yellow trail - less than an hour of brisk walking from the small car park entrance on Altona Road. Easy walking.

This trail is well laid out and offers a trip through the beautiful barossa with plenty of cafes and wineries along the way. There are a couple places where your gears will come in handy but overall suitable for most riders.

Visited this place on a Groupon promotion and was not disappointed. Stately chateau with Rose garden and views. Lovely eclectic winery and gift shop. Devonshire tea, tour of the antique room, wine, food platter. All very delicious. Very welcoming and professional service. Felt at home. Enjoyed every minute. Recommended.

My family recently gathered at the Lavender Farm for an informal family lunch to celebrate our father's 95th birthday. The tasting platters of local produce, the wine and desserts were fresh, tasty and well presented. The staff were warm and attentive and especially helpful with the organisation of the event. It's a lovely location, hidden in the foothills of the Barossa Valley, between Williamstown and Lyndoch and not far from the historic Hoffnungsthal settlement (and lagoon). We had a delightful and relaxing day and highly recommend it for a quiet drive and relaxing lunch.
