10 Things to do in Lumby That You Shouldn't Miss

We provide fun, adventure, and unforgettable experiences in the great outdoors. We offer ATV, Canoe, Kayak, and Dog Sledding tours. Our area of operations is in the North Okanagan BC from Vernon east to Lumby to the Monashee, British Columbia.

Want to soar like an eagle? Or knock an item off of your bucket list? Then come and visit us! We offer tandem flights for: Paragliding, Hang Gliding & Motorized Hang Gliding Trike. Tandem flights range in time from 8 minutes to over an hour, depending on the conditions. If you want to become a pilot yourself, we have qualified instructors to teach you how to paraglide or hang glide. The flight park has 2 launch sites and a 2000' grass runway and 2 smaller taxiways as well as a Pilot's Lounge, an outdoor covered deck where you can relax after your flight and watch others "commit acts of aviation"! We are open from late April to mid-October, weather permitting.

The Lumby & District Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Centre provides information on local attractions, businesses, places of interest, routes, picnic spots...you name it! Our Visitor Centre is currently operating with a walk up window at this time we do not allow visitors into the building. Our public washrooms as this time are closed.

Family owned and run environmentally friendly golfcourse, RV parking and camping are also available.

The Lumby Emporium is a collage of interesting and unique items ranging from antiques and collectibles to market/homemade items. There you can buy anything from nuts to bolts, soaps to art. It's a destination point for travelers coming through the Monashee Pass. While the traveler is there they will often find one of a kind specialty items in the Marketplace which is located within 3500sq.ft
