We went at 9am and we were the only ones there. Going early is awesome because it is beautiful and empty. The beach is really long and has a natural feel to is because there aren't any restaurants or houses on the beach, just trees and sand. Great for surfing

If you want that your friends envy you, send them a picture showing you are here. Place is beautiful, beach is beautiful, sea is beautiful There are some services and you can relax in the beach eating some fingerfood, drinking a fresh beer and relaxing just looking the sea in the shadow of the tree. There are also some more energetic activities such as surfing, kayaking, etc. and also snorkeling, in the south part of the beach give you lot of emotions Wonderful place, calm and relaxing far from the messy area

Great for families, lots of paid parking spots, some quiosks offer parking, probably there is a minimum consumption in exchange. But if you arrive early you can find a nice spot under a tree for a perfect shade. They offer SUP, cayak and other water activities no waves, clear water, my favorite beach in Ilhabella

if you're in ilha bela make sure to visit this amazing beach. it's one of the most beautiful I have ever been to. the calmness, quietness and scenic view are the perfect combination for a great time. the beach is just the entrance to a tiny village, filled with hostels and tiny restaurants amongst private houses. the whole place is amazing and you get there by boat or via a trail (~15K). we were lucky enough to be there on a sunny and hot day. it was just perfect. we'll be back for sure!

I spent a few days at this beach and was just taken away by the friendliness of the people there, the beauty of the place and the quaint town. It reminded me of small surfer towns on the coast in New Jersey, with summer homes a few blocks deep, neat shops and restaurants. The beach itself sported many surfers and boogie boarding was incredible. Catching a wave send you at least 50 feet in from where you started and at a good clip too. The kids loved it, so did I! There's also a banana boat that's not too expensive that takes you out to a deserted island off the coast, where you can walk around for a bit. There were quite a few people out there just hanging out. Also, when you walk to the end of the beach where the river runs into the ocean, there is a nice bridge to walk on, and in this inlet I saw several flying fish leaping out of the water in schools...it was incredible. Anyway, a great place to explore, relax and surf.
