Welcome to Ugly Apple, where we celebrate crisp, refreshing, hard cider, and the ugly apples that go into it. We make our cider by gathering wild apples, pressing and fermenting , and serving. It’s as simple as that.

Beautiful picturesque nine hole par 33 golf course. Cut out of Lanark County's maple sugar bush, the tree line fairways and elevation changes are a challenge to all levels of golfers. Extend your stay at Mulligans Bar & Grill, offering excellent food & drink with a relaxing view from our sunroom.
this is a fun course and is very scenic. Owners are friendly and accomodating and they have the best fries in the area. Just go and have fun you won't be disappointed.

I finally made my way to the Purdon Conservation area this year. Its a small off the beaten path sort of place. Magical in its quiet. There are boardwalks surrounding a cool forested area FULL of these large lady slipper orchids. When I was young there were yellow variety lady slippers in a small forest near my school. These ones at Prdon are magificent! There were hundreds in bloom when I arrived. The website informed me of this fact and it was not exagerating! Well worth the trip!
