Every time I visit LaConnor, I always visit snd try to make a purchase from this upscale wood merchant. I love the wooden bowls and boxes. This time I purchased a beautiful maple lidded box. Very worth the visit.

I have been blessed with an amazing career, over the past 25 years as a massage therapist. I worked at the Bellevue Pro Club and had a private practice in Kirkland working with the Sonics, Seahawks, and the Mariners! Collectively, over a 12 year span, body mechanics became my specialty with this elite group of athletes. Well respected by many coaches and doctors in the sports medicine industry, I’ve been able to apply this knowledge to my current clients in my day spa. This is like retirement, working on average size people, adding sugar scrubs, spa facials, and teaching couples how to work with each other, creating experiences, slowing down the pace, (I pride myself in not being the drive through window). I still absolutely love what I do! I enjoy giving you feedback that can help you with everyday ergonomics of life!
My husband had a business meeting so I needed something to do while he was away. I made a great decision to visit Mari at the La Conner Day Spa. I loved the atmosphere of her shop and it was by far the most relaxing massage that I have ever had! I am very modest and Mari made me feel comfortable. It was our first time to La Conner but we plan to come back yearly- I will definitely schedule a massage with Mari into my plans each time we visit! Go see her!!

You have to watch the tides here. BUT, It it an amazing place. Walk over the beach to the woods, walk though the woods to the tip of the island. The trails are an easy walk with just a little elevation gain so everyone should be able to do it. Has restrooms at both ends of the trail. A nice picnic spot and a lovely grass meadow. Please pick up after yourself and treat this preserve with respect.

The Pacific Northwest Quilt & Fiber Arts Museum (formerly the La Conner Quilt & Textile Museum) in the historic Gaches Mansion, located in the beautiful waterfront town of La Conner, features exhibits of quilts and fiber arts throughout the year. With a new exhibit opening on one of the three floors each month, exhibits range from traditional quilts from around the globe to contemporary fiber art. The mission of the Pacific Northwest Quilt & Fiber Arts Museum is to present exhibitions and educational programs in all fiber arts that enrich and inspire, honor cultural traditions, and celebrate the creative spirit.
What a beautiful museum housed in an historic Victorian house. A most enjoyable museum, a large gift shop and beautiful environment. I was happy to stumble onto the annual fiber arts sale. Quilts, yarns, fabrics and various tools for sale. I scored. Pleasant experience.

Waiting for a docent to arrive allowed me to visit the spacious gift shop which is well stocked with books, cards, sculpture, glass, jewelry and more. The architecture of the building is striking and the spacious ambiance is a beautiful.
