This is set on the George's River with a very good restaurant in the middle of the park ,which has a good ,large kid's play area next to it.There is a sandy beach and netted pool going into the river and a further tiled olympic pool on a hill leading to the historic Carss House ,which is worth a short tour and has great views over the yachts on the river from the lawn in front.There are lovely walks around the river front and a large BBQ area ,cockatoos andshort bush walks on paths and beautifully kept grass areas under trees.Permanent gazebos and park benches and tables Well worth a visit for a weekend or during the week lunch with the family.One of the best suburban parks around.
